Wingnutties out of control!

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Armed men burst into voting stations in the region of Timbuktu in northern Mali and carried off ballot boxes, preventing voters from casting their ballots in Sunday's legislative elections, officials said.
Trained in Chicago by democrats!

Good one, Super-S  Where ya' been?
I oppose voter suppression whether it's in Mali or Chicago, but you've got a long uphill push to try to claim it's mostly Dems doing it now. And if Republicans were trained by Chicago Dems, does that make it right? If you think that, you might as well support Chicago Dems.

Canada owes the US a debt of gratitude.

You may have seen the wingnutty conservative right-wing mayor of Toronto Rob Ford getting a lot of coverage in the US. The Sun Network, AKA Fox News North gave him his own show last week. Then despite record ratings, cancelled it after one episode.

Down south, Fox News has been shaking its pom-poms for right-wingnuts, steering the Republican party to the extremists, and ultimately costing votes because of it. Perhaps on purpose, because stoking impotent right-wing rage when the Democrats are in power is far more lucrative than shutting up when Republicans are in power.

Evidently the Conservative Party learned from the Fox News experience, decided that they wanted no part of it, and made some phone calls to get Ford off the air. Having a strong conservative party - one that's actually conservative rather than the Tea Party opposite - is good for democracy.

Thanks!

Mitch McConnell: Republicans Need To 'Stand Up To' Conservatives 'Giving Conservatism A Bad Name'

Oh, the cluelessness and irony. If there are actual conservatives left, in any meaningful concentration, they are progressive Democrats, now.

I'll send him a bag of coal with an appropriate note since I cannot vote in WI. On second thought, perhaps I'll go up there and engage in some voter fraud, but as if I'm gonna vote for him.

Say what you will about the word "Holidays", it sure beats "Walkermas".
At this point, I'd have to say that the folk in WI will get pretty much what they deserve, either by not voting or voting for this asshole.

Actually, Mutt lost the election. And we weren't voting for you, anyhow. You're welcome to relocate to WI, or TX, or some other place with a racist, dominionist, misogynist, backwoods fuckstick of a teabagger governor, though, if that's what gives you a false sense of security in a progressive world . . . .

Such a potty mouth on a little child. However, since you brought them up, and enjoy shooting off that gaping maw so much, why don't you explain just how TX and WI are doing in regard to budget deficit or maybe job creation against the say maybe California...that proud bastion of "progressivism" :---P

California as of June this year recorded a budget surplus. 1 in 5 new jobs created in the entire country are in California. They still lead the nation in job creation as they have for perhaps a year now..

Funny how some see states recovering from the Bush Recession and attempt to use "progressive" disparagingly .. .

Texass is the sort of place that considers privatizing prisons to be "job creation." Of course, by Rollo's standards, hiring more cops to round up niggers and messicans is job creation.
RealClearPolitics? Really? Another Forbes majority-owned teabagger mouthpiece?

Wisconsin didn't have a budget deficit problem until Walker caused one so he'd have an excuse for castrating the teachers' union.

Kinda like starting a fire, claiming the only way you could put it out is to let it burn up your kitchen, then claim what a hero you are for "saving" everybody from disaster.
