Just for Fun

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Man Texts Entire Works of Shakespeare to Punish Fraudster Who Wouldn’t Send Him PS3

...Mr. Joseph simply copies and pastes the plays into his phone's text message field, and sends them off to his scammer. When they reach the scammer's phone, they presumably come through in 160-character segments — meaning the 22 plays Mr. Joseph has sent were broken up into a very irritating 17,424 text messages. Basically, the fraudster's phone hasn't stopped buzzing for the past week.

Mr. Joseph will reportedly send Shakespeare's remaining 15 works over the next few days.

The nasty vendor has apparently delivered a tempest, if you will, of "abusive" messages and phone calls to Mr. Joseph in response to the onslaught of Shakespearean verse...

"Hello..." (1:12), LOL!
The rules state that it's racist to mock Chinese and Indian accents.

If so, it's still based on the English holla (To shout out or greet casually) and hollo (Hey, hello). Which in turn are possibly based on the Old High German and Old Saxon verb halon / Holon.

There's a common but incorrect claim Thomas Edison invented the word.

True. I'll have to consult with the elders at the next meeting and see if they'll add an amendment to the rules to fix that scenario.

Ain't it amazing what people can see in a slice of pizza...or a chunk of cornbread or a moldy cookie, etc.

Maybe I'll save my last piece of pizza that I buy, claim I see something in it, and sell it on eBay. Yep, That's the ticket!

Southern Cali, Nevada. Which is strange because I've never lived in those places. But JTA - if you were from there, it would be "Fulla-delfya"
