93 year old Tommy LaSorda is smiling.
Urias is a monster.
2 good 7th games.

Go Dodgers!
Dodgers starter Julio Urías won't have family at Game 4, but support is a call away

... Urías has been one of the Dodgers’ best pitchers in the postseason, going 4-0 with an 0.56 earned-run average in four games, one start, striking out 16, walking three and limiting opponents to a .366 on-base-plus-slugging percentage.

After throwing five one-run innings and a career-high 101 pitches in a 15-3 win over Atlanta in Game 3 of the National League Championship Series, Urías came back on three days’ rest to nail down the final nine outs of an NLCS-clinching 4-3 Game 7 win over the Braves on Sunday night....

The Game 4 start would allow Urías to pitch in relief on three days’ rest in a potential Game 7 on Wednesday, just like he did in the NLCS, or possibly on two days’ rest in a potential Game 6....
Dodgers 3-1.

That was fun, even if the Rays won. Runs scored in every inning except the 2nd.

Yippee!
Announcer, bottom of the 5th: "If you just joined us, shame on you for watching other sporting events!"

 I had just joined them since it was halftime of the Seahawks game.
Unlikely that is was coincidental timing, which means that the announcer was also watching the Seahawks game. :D

32 years is a long drought . . . for many teams. :P

Starter Urias killed it again as a reliever. 1.31 ERA in the postseason. :-||

Nationals invite Joe Biden to throw first pitch on opening day, something Donald Trump never did

:laughing-rofl: :---P

Dr. Anthony Fauci tossed one.

As we've said all along, beginning with O Really's asterisk on 216 pages, PINO was never a real president.

Do they play baseball in Russia?

Not looking good for Tommy Lasorda.

93 years old.

At least he got to see the Dodgers win again.

Cleveland Indians are going to change their name. In a state that "...takes its name from the Ohio River, whose name in turn originated from the Seneca word ohiːyo', meaning "good river", "great river", or "large creek". Opps.

Hopefully they'll be more creative than the alleged football team formerly known as 'Skins or the newly named hockey team Krakens. But I doubt it.

I don't see the "Opps". There's a difference between using a people's descriptive words and using those extant people as a team name. That said, it was never as bad as DC's racist name, especially after Cleveland's racist mascot and logo were removed. I didn't even know that there is still a campaign for change. I am happy that the obnoxious "war chant" will disappear from one more city.

I have a suggestion, a more modern terrifying and brutal group - the Cleveland Lawyers. :P
A trucker I met called it the "Mistake by the Lake", but Cleveland Mistakes probably won't fly.

More seriously, Cleveland Rockers would be cool.

:D Yummm.

Maybe the Cleveland Dogs, an homage to the Browns' "Dog Pound"?
The Cleveland Rockers were a WNBA team that folded after the 2003 season.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cleveland_Rockers
Idk if that makes using the name for the baseball team more or less likely.
