True that. She needs to get Travis out of there and avoid being a face of what looks so far like a really mediocre team.
Idk what he wants to do, but she could literally buy a team and make him coach. That's a helluva wife to have.

Bengals acquire QB Joe Flacco in trade with rival Browns

 , especially with division rivals.
... Cincinnati also received a 2026 sixth-round draft pick while Cleveland landed a fifth-round pick in the trade, which was announced Tuesday.
:o Flacco, a recent NFL starter, went cheap. Embarrassing, he'll have extra incentive when playing the Browns.
... The Browns brought back Flacco this past offseason to provide veteran leadership to a crowded quarterback room that also included rookies Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders. The 18-year veteran started Cleveland's first four games this season before being replaced by Gabriel in Sunday's loss to the Vikings.

Flacco's departure from Cleveland could open the door for Sanders to be elevated to the No. 2 quarterback spot behind Gabriel. Sanders has been Cleveland's emergency third-string quarterback for the first five games of the season.

The Browns listed Sanders as their No. 2 quarterback on Tuesday's unofficial depth chart for their upcoming game against Pittsburgh....
Not wishing injury on Gabriel, but I hope Sanders gets a shot sometime.

Sources: Cardinals fining Jonathan Gannon for sideline spat

The Arizona Cardinals are fining coach Jonathan Gannon $100,000 for his sideline altercation Sunday with running back Emari Demercado, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Tuesday.

Demercado dropped the football before crossing the goal line in the fourth quarter of the loss to the Tennessee Titans on what would have been a 72-yard touchdown run....
 That's a lot for ranting at a bonehead player.

Cowboys' Jerry Jones fined $250K by NFL for gesture

 It's the new "woke" NFL. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy, though.

Mission accomplished. The Cowboys couldn't handle them for a full game. Walkoff 33 yard field goal!

Travis needs to retire. He played well but got tossed once directly on his head in the kind of fall that can break a neck, and got his leg rolled up on in a way that can ruin knees. Dude's got a good life, plenty of money, alternate career opportunities and oh yeah - Taylor. Be a shame to mess all that up trying to overstretch an already great career.

Great minds . . .
Tomlin on Browns trading Flacco to Bengals: 'Doesn't make sense'

... "To be honest, it was shocking to me," Tomlin said Monday. "Andrew Berry must be a lot smarter than me or us because it doesn't make sense to me to trade a quarterback that you think enough of to make your opening-day starter to a division opponent that's hurting in that area, but that's just my personal feelings."

... Tomlin's comments come a day after the Steelers (4-1) beat the Browns and rookie quarterback Dillon Gabriel 23-9 and just three days before facing the Bengals in a primetime game in Cincinnati on Thursday night....
