Sickophants

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

I sort of think that if I were a teenager and Ted Cruz was my dad, I'd probably kill myself. Twice

That's not the neoplacebo I know. I think that if you were a teenager and Ted Cruz was your dad, you'd probably kill Ted Cruz. Twice

Cutting isn't so much a problem itself as it is a symptom of severe emotional distress. Often related to eating disorders, sexual abuse, sexual identification conflict. How miserable it must be to be in the Cruz family. Same as Conways only worse.

Your evaluation is correct. I was thinking of myself as a 14 year old....before I achieved my full potential for severe fish slapping and brutal stomping.

I'm think she should read the script, written for her at least once, before she stumblingly reads it for the first time on air.

I was never a fan, lad (nttawwt), and I didn't know that perpetually short Plankton could pull off disguises. Stumbled on this bit of heresy:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plankton_ ... l_response
In his 2011 book SpongeBob SquarePants and Philosophy, political scientist Joseph J. Foy argues that "Plankton may actually be the unsung hero of the series, and SpongeBob the true villain." He compares the character to the Nietzschean Übermensch, taking note of his mental superiority compared to the other characters in the show, and questions how Plankton is only "judged as bad because, no matter how many great things he accomplishes, his intentions are deemed ignoble". Foy concludes his analysis by criticizing the fact that "SpongeBob is praised as noble for trying to hold Plankton back."
What "evilness of Plankton"? :P

Back to today's children's shows:

Kayleigh McEnany tried to 'actively avoid' Trump after the election because he wanted her to talk about Dominion from the White House podium, ex-aide testified

Turns out the only lies that McEnany would not tell for TRE45QN were the ones that looked criminal. That's what passes for "ethics" among the Cult .45 and modern RepuQs.

Congress moves to restrict embattled Architect of the Capitol

Let's see:

Abused his authority;
Squandered taxpayer money;
Improper use of government-owned vehicles;
Daughter driving recklessly;
Claimed to be a law enforcement agent;
Bipartisan distaste for him;
Cowering from questions about his management;
Only member of the Capitol Police Board to not resign or lose his or her position after the security failures at the January 6, 2021 U.S. Capitol attack.

I'm ready to solve the puzzle, Pat. Yep, the article fails to mention that J. Brett Blanton was appointed by TRE45QN.

"The Architect of the Capitol is a presidential appointee who, though confirmed by the Senate, cannot be immediately removed by the Senate. The new legislation seeks to give Congress leverage and capability to remove the Architect."

So why hasn't Biden removed him? Is there a inviolable rule like the claim backing the man trying to destroy the post office?

It will be hard for me to even consider voting for Biden. I'll probably write-in vote for Nader before I waste another vote on Biden. He's been mostly a failure to do anything to stop trump, or the other trump-like from further damaging our former attempt at democracy.

A DeSantis presidency could be the light at the end of the tunnel resulting in a backlash against these assholes.

The reality of politics and the necessity of compromise to do any sort of governing make the promise of any candidate a disappointment after elected.

Stopping trump and the trump like has massive constitutional limitations as well as the political ramifications if trump is charged but not convicted may be scarier than doing nothing.

If Biden is the nominee, he's got my vote. He's done a lot of good in balance, more than I expected. I wish he could have done more, he'll I'm sure he wishes he could've done more.
