I think that guy was a dumbass; I figure letters and numbers cost the same, numbers maybe a little more since there's more curves, but he could have saved considerably if he used numbers exclusively on the dates. I myself will have Roman numerals on my stone.....MCMLIV and ? I figure 12 or 13 letters max. Beats 31 and a half (for the commas) any day. It would be funny if there was a Roman numeral D and E. Maybe then I could die in the year MMDIE

I was thinking he could have had the tombstone say "Died" instead of "Past Away". Or hell, just put the date and save even more money. People would know what that stands for.
