No offense taken. Competing for solution is fine, but I probably won't pay much attention to time. Adds unnecessary stress to an otherwise fun little word game. I don't time crosswords, either. However, I might post times anyway for your enjoyment and opportunity to rag as applicable.

Either way. Competing solely for number of steps is also fine. It just means more ties. I could not do it with crosswords. They are my Ambien and it might take me several days to finish one depending on difficulty and how fast I've fallen asleep.
