WTF Is Congress Doing About Rudy Giuliani?
By now, you are probably aware that Trump’s attorney Rudy Giuliani put his foot in his mouth this week while speaking with Sean Hannity on Fox News. Why is everyone freaking out? During the interview Rudy asserted two important things – 1. that Trump reimbursed his lawyer $130,000 for a hush payment made to the porn star Stormy Daniels. This contradicts with earlier claims that Trump had no knowledge of such payments; 2. that Trump fired Comey because he wouldn’t do his bidding with the Russia investigation. Trump is now attempting to undercut Giuliani’s statements. The remarks potentially open Trump up to a host of legal issues from campaign finance to overall credibility (though this is ultimately for Robert Mueller to decide). What does all this mean? Sadly, not much. Trump’s survival depends on Republican lawmakers in Congress, and this latest development hasn’t caused any of them to (publicly) waiver. Unless there is a change in the political composition of the House or Senate (or both), Giuliani’s statements probably will not unseat Trump as President....

Turns out Rudy's guy in Ukraine is a Russian agent but Rudy says he had "no reason to believe he was a Russian agent." Yeah, Rudy, that's how that type of thing works. Just one more jolting reminder how successful Putin has been with the trump crowd and how the GOP are so stupid and gullible that they all get sucked into being played like the fools they are.
