2028 Elections

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

You mean the current 39 or so million residents who "have not left"? California is a huge state in geography, culture, and population and not everywhere in the state is the same. Like any other state, it has its faults. It's expensive, but to a lot of people, including myself, it's well worth it.
I'm guessing you must have lived in California sometime in the past in order to have such an understanding of the "misery."
No surprise that SoupySales has such enmity for our first majority non-White state. Such fear and hatred, shame. That's how MAGA is and how Faux Noise tells them to be.

Not surprised the folks who have not left CA think well of Newsom. They should enjoy the misery.

Gratefully, I have not lived in CA. My knowledge and opinion of CA is probably more than the knowledge O Really has about MS which he has bashed in the past.

Good point, if it were true. Over the years I have done extensive and in person work for clients in Tupelo, Jackson, and Biloxi, some of whom also had locations in other more rural parts of the state. But nevermind my own experience, a cursory look at demographic stats clearly shows Mississippi is no societal paradise, and being at the bottom in education doesn't help. But Mississippi has some nice places and undoubtedly some good people. My bashing is largely because the state has a plethora of rednecks and I'm prejudiced against rednecks.

Speaking of Mississippi, Jackson has the highest violent crime rate in the nations, yes significantly higher than LA or Chicago. Can we expect Trump to send "help" in the form of military? Naa, I didn't think so.
