Guns, race, religion, terror, wingnut thread

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Which isn't much different from what everyone else think's he's doing.
You fantasizing about me again? Role playing at master baiting?
Everyone else? You DO mean you and Vrede too don't you?

So you act like a drooling right-wing extremist - who believes and reposts as gospel every lie and myth that Mike Huckabee uses to con the inbreds - as performance art.

Right.
Mike who?
What part of baiting do you have trouble understanding? My world doesn't revolve around politics or political figures; nor do I eat, drink, or sleep politics; sorry about yours.
Very well; Then why DO you believe and repost as gospel every lie and myth that Mike Huckabee uses to con the inbreds?

I don't check authorship of those silly pictures I post, nor do I believe the sayings in them is gospel, or even if it's truth or fiction;
nor do my shorts come unstarched if I disagree with their content; It is fun though visualizing you and your sidekick coming apart at the seams.
Your description of those with whom you disagree with is justifiable cause to post silly crap that YOU deem others are dumb enough to believe is true. Surely you know stuff like that is created to piss off a liberal . . . and it works beautifully!

The difference in a liberal and a puppy is puppies stop whining when they grow up.

Fair enough. But the question remains; With plenty of myths and lies at all points of the political spectrum that you could troll with, why DO you believe and repost as gospel just the ones that Mike Huckabee and friends use to con the inbreds?

That is, reacting like you do when someone disagrees with you. You inevitably embarrass yourself further, as you're doing now.

Except that I'm a conservative.

Sure, I'm not a Palin/Huckabee/Cruz "conservative" like yourself. ("Conservative" in quotes, because it's only a delusion that they represent anything like actual conservatism.)

What you post has nothing to do with "pissing off liberals." It simply makes liberals and conservatives alike wonder how you can be so incapable of intelligent thought.

Ok, seriously here; I choose them for their humor. Whether they're truth or fiction, who they're authored by, what political message they send or stand for, means naught to me; however the tailspin that you and Vrede too go into is my satisfaction; or you could say; pushes MY buttons; but pushes them in a good way.

That is, reacting like you do when someone disagrees with you. You inevitably embarrass yourself further, as you're doing now.
I'm far from embarrassing myself. For my reaction, there is an opposite and opposing reaction.

In party name. South of your border, and with your ideologies, in the U.S., you're a liberal.

Sure, I'm not a Palin/Huckabee/Cruz "conservative" like yourself. ("Conservative" in quotes, because it's only a delusion that they represent anything like actual conservatism.)
Nor am I, nor am I a "liberal", democrat, republican, or whatever else the politically-charged masses wish to call themselves.

What you post has nothing to do with "pissing off liberals." It simply makes liberals and conservatives alike wonder how you can be so incapable of intelligent thought.
Ha Ha. I can easily think the same of you and your ilk. Those silly photos I post are not of my design or authorship; rather they are designed to do exactly what they are doing here. So far, I've only seen how two of the staunchest liberals react; so tell me, where are, and who are the conservatives here that "wonder alike"? :wtf:

And yet you choose and post strictly the ones that Mike Huckabee and friends use to con the inbreds.

Nonsense.

There's a joke from back in 2008 when the Republicans were nationalizing all the Wall Street investment banks, bailing out a great many other banks, bailing out the auto makers:
The Conservatives in Canada are roughly equivalent to the more liberal Democrats in the US.

The Liberal Party is further to the left.

MUCH further to the left we have the have the unabashedly socialist NDP. They want to do things like spending huge amounts of public money to manipulate the national economy, and nationalize or take a large financial stake in banks and some large corporations. This makes them roughly equivalent to the Republican Party.
In reality it's no more fair to equate Conservatives in Canada with liberal Democrats in the US, than it is to equate Republicans with the NDP.

The Canadian Liberal and Conservative parties are both FAR more fiscally conservative then US Republicans. (Just like how in recent decades America's Democrats have been more fiscally conservative than the Republicans, Canada's Liberals have been more fiscally conservative than the Conservatives.) The Canadian Liberal and Conservative parties are both FAR more libertarian than the Republican Party.

The Canadian Liberal and Conservative parties are both far more conservative on foreign policy. Even setting aside Republicans lying to the country to convince it to invade Iraq, preemptive warfare is new, and certainly not conservative.

Heck, the US healthcare debate is so messed up that both the Canadian Liberal and Conservative parties are more conservative, and FAR less socialist, than the US Republican party. But then Canada has been less socialist as a whole than the US for a few decades now. (Yes, really. And I can give plenty of examples.)

A lot of the problem with most US "conservatives" is that they have no idea what political conservatism is. They focus almost entirely on their handful of hot-button social issues - abortion, for example - and define everybody within narrow yes/no boundaries. They may give lip service to sloganized concepts of "smaller government" or "lower taxes" but no in-depth understanding. The hard right wing has stolen the term "conservative" and won't let anybody use it who deviates in the slightest from their strait-jackets. Those considered founders of the "conservative movement" such as William Buckley and even the "reactionary" Barry Goldwater would not recognize what calls themselves conservatives today, nor would either of those be considered acceptably "conservative" to today's wild-eyed bunch. I read a comment at the end of some story about the current election that said, "Amazing what eight years can do - I never thought I'd say it, but if I had a choice I'd vote to bring back Dubya before any of the current candidates."

Huh. I never realized what an utterly deluded submoron nutjob Rand Paul is.

This sort of claim raises a serious question as to whether emergency personnel should be rushed to the scene to equip him with a ventilator in case he forgets to breathe.

The Y'all Qaeda occupation is expected to end within the hour. Meanwhile Cliven Bundy was arrested by the FBI. Bundy is charged with conspiracy to interfere with a federal officer for his actions in April 2014, when he led an armed standoff with federal agents in Nevada that was related to his refusal to pay fees for grazing cattle on public lands.

Cliven Bundy charged with assault, conspiracy

Some breaking news from outside of the refuge: The Associated Press is reporting that Cliven Bundy has been charged with assault and conspiracy for his 2014 standoff with the federal government at his Nevada ranch.

The 69-year-old rancher has for years refused to pay grazing fees to the government to have his cattle use public lands. The dispute reached a head when federal officials attempted to seize his cattle and armed anti-government protesters came to his aid.

He still owes the government more than $1m.

Cliven Bundy was arrested late Wednesday night in Portland. Earlier in the evening, he told the Guardian he was on his way to Oregon to support the occupiers. He is currently in jail in Portland.

The New York Times reports on the last holdout:
“It’s liberty or death. I will not go another day as a slave to this system.” He railed against taxpayer money being used for abortions and drone strikes in Pakistan, said bankers were to blame for the world wars, complained of being unable to obtain medical marijuana in his home state, and accused the government of suppressing breakthrough inventions, concealing U.F.O.’s, and “chemically castrating everybody.”

Well, at least he didn't complain about chem-trails, I suppose.
