Did you ever wonder what you'd have done during the rise of fascism? You're doing it right now.

So, Bryson, now that you're off duty and just sitting around the clubhouse, could you tell us what indicators whatsoever point to "the greatest economy we've ever had"?

Tiger Does it Again!
3rd DUI. He should lose his license for a long time at a minimum. He and the general public are incredibly lucky he hasn't hurt someone or worse.

Today, Tiger Woods' net worth sits at approximately $1.3 billion.
That's enough for chauffeurs, taxis and/or ride shares for the rest of his life.

He's hammered.
Apparently he's pled not guilty and asked for a jury trial while simultaneously getting ready to leave the country for addiction treatment.
Other than a delay tactic, make it make sense.

Re: Golf (yeah, golf)
Dunno if I can make it make sense, but I can offer a theory: It's up to the state to prove its charges, not up to Tiger to prove innocence. The penalty for refusing a test of intoxication is automatic suspension of licence. The state figures that's usually enough incentive (threat) that most people will submit to the tests, thereby giving the state its evidence. But if you don't take the test, accept the suspension, it's still up to the state to prove intoxication. So he pleads not guilty and his lawyer gets to ask the cop "so what was Mr. Woods under the influence of?" "Um, well, we don't know, but he sure looked hammered." "Oh, I see. So when were you interviewing Mr. Woods?" "After the wreck." "Ah, so late at night, after surviving a rollover wreck, Mr. Woods didn't seem like his usual cheery self?" "I asked Mr. Woods if he was on medication and he said 'several'" (skip to summary) "So Mr. Woods, obviously tired and under stress looked inebriated, but passed a breathalyzer and you don't know what if anything he had recently taken, right?"
Worth a try to get the charge back to reckless driving.

He took the HGN which was dumb and is pretty incriminating.
Plus, I'm not a trained professional and if you put me on the jury with those results, hydrocodone in his pocket, an admission he took prescriptions and the video, I'd go yep...he's hammered.

The Masters is now underway. The weather is supposed to be great all weekend. The patrons are in for a real treat. I have been fortunate to attend several times, I prefer the practice round days, but the last time I went in 2018 I knew it was time to retire. The hills had grown too much for me to enjoy.

I got to spend some time with Tom Fazio there during the 2001 tournament after he did some renovations.

Fazio had a home here in Hendersonville as he designed Champion Hills. He and his wife did a lot of good work for the community.GoCubsGo wrote: ↑Thu Apr 09, 2026 3:18 pmNot a blade of grass out of place there.supesalemgr2 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 09, 2026 3:04 pmThe Masters is now underway. He probably still has his home here. However, I believe he is spending more time in FL.GoCubsGo wrote: ↑Thu Apr 09, 2026 3:32 pmIn Laurel Park.supesalemgr2 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 09, 2026 3:25 pmFazio had a home here in Hendersonville as he designed Champion Hills.
