Yeah, funny that your stretch was the four worst SEC teams, each with only one SEC win.

Hope you're not overconfident. A&M, Alabama & Tennessee each have 0 or 1 SEC loss, and Kentucky has a winning SEC record. Ut-oh. Non-SEC West Virginia looks easy on paper, though.

Didn't I say that I have little confidence that they can beat those teams?
We could easily have 4 more losses very soon.

Followed by atm again and then bammer.
Then, after a couple of weeks of possibly easier games, we get Kentucky, bammer and Tennessee back to back

We never led. Down by 15 for a good part of the 1st half and by 16 with 10 minutes left. We came back to within 1 point and had an easy chance to go up by one, but made a stupid mistake and their big guy (31 points, and 7/10 3 pointers) nailed another 3. After that it was pretty much just trading points

I hate watching bammer win anything. Occasionally, as in this game, I regret not having watched.

Paybacks are fun. Too bad Bruce won't run up the score. He played almost everyone in the early part of the 2nd half and with 8 minutes left and up by 29 he played people I'd never heard of. We still won by 21.

UGA once was my 2nd favorite sec team until Mark Richt. He changed the player's attitudes to nasty and somehow did the same to their fans. Kirby (bammer) may be even worse. Someone please explain again how Ohio State's best ball carrier can get hit in the head by a head first launch by the Georgia defender. He was hit so hard that he gets a concussion and has to leave the game, yet the on field called penalty on Georgia was overturned. With the penalty it would have been game over for Georgia.

To them this was only basketball, but I loved it.

I've seen an awful lot less consistently deemed to be Targeting.

Their big guy has shot 3 or 4 air balls from just outside the arc in the 1st 4 minutes.
I'll probably be back lamenting that he found his groove, but so far this is fun.

Okay, I gotta comment. We played the ATMs a back and forth game. I believe there were 19 or 20 lead changes.

But the Tennessee game sucked. With Auburn playing as they have the past few years this particular officiating crew has been there for 7 losses and only 5 wins and this game from beginning to end was full of bullshit calls. He was fouled more than several times, but all were no calls.

Here's the last one, maybe the refs wanted to go home is the best I can say. Wendell is an 85% foul shooter.

Am I just biased or can anyone watch this and not see the foul?

Come on guys, someone please watch the clip of the last shot and tell me there isn't something wrong with sec refs. Over the course of the past 13 games with this crew, Auburn has lot 8. 5 wins to 8 losses to a team that has been ranked consistently, often in the top ten and always better in the Tournament than in league play.

Today we get Doug Shows and crew. He's been a fix for Kentucky for years. Hopefully he's neutral or pro Auburn against bammer.
College Game Day is at Auburn, at 1 central time.

But seriously, take a look at the clip. Watch the whole game for 10 or 20 more.

Do you think the SEC refs are just generally awful or is their individual team bias just tolerated by the league?

It was a foul.
Should have been 3 FTs.
Still might have lost.
I'm a quasi-UT fan. That may be the worst no-call that I've seen. And I'm not sure I understand all of the replay rules, but shouldn't a game ending play, be reviewable? Crappy game & I'm sure the refs didn't want to watch any more of it either, but that wasn't the way to end it.
Of course, there's only so much room to gripe when scoring 43 otherwise. WDE should stomp any team that only scores 46.
It depends on who the @SEC office told the refs to protect

Tolerated, or why else wasn't that game ending/changing call at least reviewed and why did the refs refuse to explain it to Pearl.
Directions to protect the top teams have always been promoted in the sec.

But tell me, wasn't it an obvious foul, or two fouls - one high going up and a 2nd as he went down?

Protect the top.

Yes it should have been reviewed.

Wendell is an 85% free throw shooter and always performs better under pressure.

I love defensive games against high scoring teams. If it hadn’t been for a dozen or so similar call against Auburn, the score could easily have been 50 or 60 to 40.

The refs made it a crappy game.

91-71 UNC over Clemson
That was fun, particularly in a season that hasn't seen much fun.
