UNC is in the NCAA tournament!

The Asheville women won the regular season title, could win the Big South tournament and also get in.

We added an early high school graduate last week and started playing him 2 days later. This 17 year old is over 7 feet tall. He is making some mistakes in the 10 or so minutes he plays, but is improving.
We needed tall.

That it did. They were picked to win.

AU may be finally in the b-ball elite with Coach Pearl. Our top 4 scorers are all freshmen - and one of them is 7 feet tall. The 17 year old had his best game yesterday

Our women's team plays Kentucky today.

Potential elite? Not ranked and the SEC besides KY is rather weak this year.

Poor wording. I'm talking about next year, or in the next couple with Coach Pearl

Great coach and top 4 shooters are freshmen. Next year will be our best shot in a long dry spell

can't help but wish. the round mound of rebound is our biggest claim to fame, but all these freshman playing pretty even with more experienced teams has to be a good thing.

Beat TCU yesterday and now ranked #60, but several very tough games ahead.
