From Hamilton Spectator, article regarding Manziel's time with the Tiger-Cats:

"There is a lot of conjecture about what Manziel did — it's probably more what he didn't do — to warrant his expulsion from the league. Some of the talk wonders if he chose not to abide by his agreement with the CFL (to take counselling and certain medication) in order to secure his contractual freedom.

Now that he has actually thrown passes in real games for the first time in three years, opportunities in the form of the AAF and the looming XFL should create some kind of bidding war for his services, if only for the publicity he would bring either NFL-shadowed league"
It's Canada, obviously he neglected to say "Sorry" when he crushed an opposing team. Bastard, eh?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johnny_Ma ... _Alouettes
... Manziel was slated to compete with Pipkin and Vernon Adams for the starting role in 2019, but on February 27 it was revealed that the (Montreal) Alouettes released him on orders from the CFL after league officials determined that he had "contravened" the terms of his CFL contract. The CFL also barred him from signing with any other CFL team. Manziel had previously revealed that as part of his agreement with the league, he was required to see a doctor, attend weekly sessions with a therapist, and submit to weekly lithium tests. According to veteran CFL journalist Justin Dunk, the league decided to cut ties with Manziel after he missed a number of mandatory meetings.
As predicted, he then played briefly in the doomed Alliance of American Football and then also briefly in the Fan Controlled Football, an indoor American football league.

It looks like 31 year old Manziel may have retired for good after the 2022 season. His post-college career statistics are entirely unimpressive.

It looks like the traitors have raised the white flag and thrown in the towel. Beaver Nation and Cougar Nation are victorious! They will retain the resources to possibly resurrect the Pac-12.

Not that it's anywhere near the equation, but if it were my choice, I'd take the original members, except booting Clemson out and letting maybe Pitt and/or Syracuse stay.

It's not that I want FSU :puke-left: to stay in the ACC, but rules are rules. It's not like FSU :puke-left: supported the Terps when they whined about the exit fee MD ultimately was forced to pay.

Idk about original ACC. I would like MD to return from the bloated Big Ten, but there are several other current teams I like besides FSU :puke-left: and Clemson :puke-left: Where do you want the 'Canes to land, back in the defunct Big East?

They can stay. What I liked about the older version ACC was that it included natural long term rivalries, was geographically near enough that fans were closely familiar with pretty much all the members and was small enough that everybody played everybody.

The YouTube algorithm gods were shining on me.

The Calm Down Podcast with Erin Andrews and Charissa Ward is funny, irrelevant and real. Very different from their TV personas.

Great two part episode with Dan Patrick.

Does anyone else use statbroadcast?

I’m not sure if it covers every school - I checked Duke, it’s there.

Of the several formats available, I use Team Box scores and switch between Auburn and the opponent.
Great to look at during commercials and time outs.

It’s - Team Name.statbroadcast.com

Did you use it during your demolition of Clemson?

No, we were out walking along the beach and then fishing for dinner at the fish mongers. Priorities, ya' know.

I saw the 2nd half of the UNC game - it was right before the Auburn game on the same channel.

Stat of the day: Since 2000, there have been 24 Super Bowls and 24 college football title games. Belichick, Saban and Carroll have coached in 22 of those games (46%) and won 15 of them (31%).
