There are no "strays."
The cats in the header pic have been with me for over 10 years.

Want a different header pic?
Post it up if you are able.

Else, just sit on the sidelines being far too incompetent to grasp the concept and provide nothing more than "Nanny-nanny-boo-boo" type posts (of which I'm surprised you can even muster).

BTW, the GreaseMonkey Script for the additional forum smileys is here (for those interested).
Let me know if you need assistance installing it. Image

Yo, Mike -
I logged in this morning, and when I clicked on this thread, I got a different screen presentation. Instead of the generic white/blue, I got 50 shades of gray. Index page still looks the same, but each thread now has the gray. Did I accidentally click "accept" or "install" or something for your styling selection? If so, how do I get my generic screen back?

Nevermind. I found "board preferences." Somehow mine got changed all by itself. All better now.

Oops my bad, I think I did that. I'm working on a new style and I changed the default.

I've also added a new theme in the user control panel that I am particularly fond of.

Check it out. Look for Artodia: Deluxe

Thanks for moving this thread here, Banni.

Also, thanks for the options on a theme.

I'll stick with the default because I'd only make the new theme look like the one I've already done. :)

For those still using the default theme, I've added lots of stuff.

No, I haven't changed the header pic, but, as I've mentioned, I will create a custom header pic for anyone desiring such.

My thanks to the members who have checked it out and understand what it is.

You are smarter than the Luddites and I appreciate that. Image

More refinements (specially in the preview your post section).

Again, thanks to all who are giving it a look even if you're not using it. Image

I had to get my mind distracted for a bit, this evening, so I updated a few areas I messed up with the last update (sorry about that Image ).

My heartfelt thanks to anyone who might be testing this. Image

Nice, VenDaz! Image

I'd like to know how you styled the General Discussions page with separation and border radius on the tbody > tr selectors.
I've been trying to do that for what seems like forever.
Care to share? Image

This should be all you need Mike, the rest of my code was just to show an example of table styling for anyone testing your style.

Code: Select all

tr { display: table; border-radius:10px!important;} /* this makes table borders/margins work */
td.forumdetails {width:200px!important;} /* lines up cells, adjust px as needed */
I'm impressed with the detail you've incorporated into your style. Nice work!

Thank you, and, also, thank you for the tip ... you're awesome! Image

This is inherited from html, body so any Styling is going to affect other areas, but the following sorta works:

Code: Select all

body{color:white!important;text-shadow: -2px 0 2px black, 0 2px 2px black, 2px 0 2px black, 0 -2px 2px black!important;}

.vtcontent,span,div.vtprofilepanel,div.statspanel,h3,dd,.post:target .content ,.postbody .content {text-shadow: none!important;} /*add selectors as needed */

div.statspanel {color:black!important;} /*add selectors as needed*/
Edit: The tr code messed up the member list, so may not be worth keeping.

I just accidentally discovered that you can do multiples of the font size increase and have it work. I think that 8 times "size=200" is the limit, the letters don't seem to get larger after that. The word below is "test".

test

Holy crap, I bet that's a bug and not an intended feature LOL.
