A lawyer trying to extort money out of him even cited it as a threat.
Read this. It's hysterically funny:
FunnyJunk is threatening to file a federal lawsuit against me unless I pay $20,000 in damages
The lawyer, Charles Carreon, freaked out, launched legal actions against everyone, and essentially had a long, very public meltdown.
The end result was $211,000 raised for charity and a lot of entertainment for those of us watching the whole thing unfold.
