Did you ever wonder what you'd have done during the rise of fascism? You're doing it right now.

Tell 'em how you really feel.
Now I know where all the loud laughter is coming from that I hear rumbling and rolling around the foothills.
I'm sure you really hurt their feelings, you old meanie you.

You and your ilk scream about cons and Christians wanting to impose their will and beliefs on you, what in hell do you think you're doing by blasting your hate spiel on them? Hmm?

Lot of noise coming from that closet.

 I knew you missed me. So why did you delete your love letter with a world-record list of adjectives that you supposedly wrote to those businesses and individuals? Did you realize the futility of your friends here believing you actually wrote the letter? I have to admit, it was rather entertaining; I wish I had copied it as a quote. Thanks for the laughs.

Glad they reopened, but was anything done to mitigate flood damage from Mud Creek?

I wonder what I objected to enough to start this thread 10 years ago. From Seth's whining it sounds like it was something faith-based.

Idk, I haven't followed their recovery and never shop there. The intersection always floods, but I'm not sure that Fresh Market is usually affected. A lot of places are reopening without Helene-level prep - RAD, Biltmore Village, etc. We'll see.

Both Harris Teeter and Fresh Market rebuilt in the flood zone.

Guess they're good with taking their insurance payout, rebuilding, paying high premiums and rolling the dice for another 30 years or so.

I think 100 year flood levels were exceeded, but "30 years" may be more reasonable in our AGW world.

They weren't merely exceeded, they were inundated. And as you said, that area floods often. Haus Heidelberg needs to install a boat dock. I don't know how they remain open, they're on a slab IIRC.
