Malfunction
I logged in as usual, posted a few times as BP, came back to the phone an hour or so later and I was logged in as another forum member.

Re: Malfunction
homerfobe just dropped off my Foe (ignore) List. I did "Add foe" again, which worked.

Re: Malfunction
I think I know the problem Vrede, the redirect from blueridgedebate.com to www.blueridgedebate.com was overridden during the upgrade. I'll have to redo it. In the meantime, try to make sure to sure www.blueridgedebate.com at every location and I bet you'll see the problem disappeared.
As far as the mixed up sessions -- which is really strange, I increased the security a bit so the session has to match at least the first two octets of everyone's IP address.

Consider the timing and why I might be quoting that specific banni message.

After I logged in, I saw this notification showing who was logged in:
Registered users: AhrefsBot [Bot], Bing [Bot], Leo Lyons, Majestic-12 [Bot], phpservermon [Bot], Semrush [Bot], UptimeRobot [Bot]
Can posting or joining Bots not be prohibited from posting or joining?
Just curious.

Re: Malfunction
banni's setup is pretty good at preventing bots from posting or joining, but it's not perfect. I think that anyone can lurk. None of those handles are members:Leo Lyons wrote: ↑Thu Oct 14, 2021 4:58 pmAfter I logged in, I saw this notification showing who was logged in:

Idk why we're able to see the handles of nonmembers.

Re: Malfunction
Same here; I don't think those are handles, rather I believe they are bot servers used by the various persons that are able to sign in and make
their presence known. They don't really post anything interesting nor contribute to a thread; they're there until they are eventually deleted by
Bannination(?) or an administrator.
I peek at the member's list occasionally to see if any newbies have joined. It's easy to spot lurkers and those
promoting their silly websites.

They may not be handles, but they're not signed in. Otherwise, they would appear in the member list.

Those are the rare bots that get by banni's firewall and register and post.

I spot them by their posts. When I was a mod I would delete them. Now, I ignore them or PM banni if one is persistent.

Re: Malfunction
Hard to tell, exactly; I don't know if what I'm about to describe is linked to my bout of virus,
but I'm inclined to think so as I wasn't this way before I got sick.
Some days I go into a hellacious coughing spell, other times, a feeling of smothering, and sometimes a total
inability to get interested in anything. I can no longer concentrate or read without losing interest, that's why I've not been here that much.
Right now, I am happy just traveling around the country dodging the bad weather states. I'm going to have to pick a settling-down spot soon
as winter is coming on and I hate cold weather.
Thanks for asking.

We even convinced RepuQs to resist masks and vaccines . Sorry that some independents like you had to suffer in service to our plot.

Re: Malfunction
Sounds like my condition for the past year or so, minus the coughing spells and smothering sensation. But I've been covid tested repeatedly and it's always come up negative (or, "not detected", as they slyly put it). I've also acquired an aversion to the cold, leading to getting the shivers-shakes from time to time. One such bout last night.Leo Lyons wrote: ↑Sat Oct 16, 2021 10:23 pmHard to tell, exactly; I don't know if what I'm about to describe is linked to my bout of virus,

The important part is to enjoy what life you have, no? Sounds like you are doing reasonably well at that. Take care.
