Ouch. Be kinda dumb to not root for the Ducks, wouldn't it?

Ducks have a significant advantage with rain predicted.
:D Because they're Ducks or because Oregon? If the latter, surprised me:
Eugene's annual precipitation 40.83 inches.
Chapel Hill annual precipitation 47.37 inches.

Anyhow, raining in SD? Any kind of  can happen. Vegas is sweating bullets.
Both, really. But the difference in Chapel Hill and Eugene is that Chapel Hill gets its precipitation in 114 days; Eugene rains 150. Chapel Hill buckets; Eugene lighter but constant rain from late October until March.

But yeah, we're getting some well-needed steady but gentle rain. Weather chicks are orgasmic.
The ducks should award blufield harsin some kind of metal, maybe even a bobblehead statue, for running Bo out of Auburn.
I like both schools, but I gotta go with Bo.

That's hot. ;)
Okay, you win the weather chicks contest.

The SD average annual precipitation is less than 12 inches, 38 days per year.
Supposedly a quarter of an inch overnight, no rain today.

There goes that Duck edge, they'll just have to rely on being a better team. :P

Yeah they were originally predicting a rainy Wednesday but it apparently got here early. Good for the parade and the game.

Edit: By 11:00 we were back to usual; sunny sky and 68. Game on,

Now this is funny. Looks more like another coach blufield.
Also funny, does he love the bammers because they have sworn never to play uab

"Or maybe he’s just Harsin UAB, someone who says things like, “Just wait,” as he barrels the car down the dirt road towards a cliff. I’m hopeful that Dilfer is the guy who can take UAB to the next level as a football school, but some of his pronouncements are triggering PTSD."

:D Pro success is not related to coaching success, but I'm not above piling on. Dilfer took Baltimore to the SB - NICE! - but,
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trent_Dil ... ore_Ravens
... During the playoffs, Dilfer went 3–0, and the Ravens advanced to Super Bowl XXXV in Tampa, Florida to meet the New York Giants. The Ravens won their first Super Bowl title in a 34–7 blowout, which saw Dilfer complete 12 of 25 passes for 153 yards and one touchdown.... The Los Angeles Times described Dilfer as a game manager quarterback for the Ravens that season: He "wasn't elite, but he didn't make costly mistakes, and was supported by a dominant defense." Dilfer wasn't re-signed by the Ravens, making him the only quarterback to be let go after winning a Super Bowl....

Career NFL statistics
Pass attempts:
3,172
Pass completions: 1,759
Percentage: 55.5
TD–INT: 113–129
Passing yards: 20,518
Passer rating: 70.2
Meh.

Wow, I gave up on Kansas-Arkansas with 1:17 left and Arkansas leading 38-23. Instead, Arkansas wins 55-53 in 3OT!

Wow.

4th 0:24 - ORE 4th & 2, at UNC 6
Bo Nix passed to Chase Cota for 6 yard touchdown (Camden Lewis made PAT)

Some had expectations that they would lose, and following tradition, in the most soul-killing way possible.

Did you see the shot of Brown when the Ducks scored that last TD?

Cheez-It Bowl, I don't care who wins, but it seems important to billy.pilgrim :P . If we discuss the history of the game is it the Cheez-It Bowls or the Cheez-It Crackers Bowl?
Oklahoma 6-6 vs (13) Florida State 9-3 (-10)

9:00 PM EST TV: ESPN
Alamo Bowl, 80 miles from Austin is hardly fair
Go (12) Washington 10-2 > (20) Texas 8-4 (-3), but I don't hate the Longhorns.

One more Bowl I don't care about.

Not important to me other than watching the idiocy of the idiocy of a snack food corporation telling the people who buy their product that they are wrong.

Not ecstatic, more like We told you so. We've had great coaches in the past, but it's been a long dry spell since Tubby. Chizek was the absolute worse, followed by blufield and then the great high school coach gus.

Auburn Football: Former Tigers QB to receive first NFL start

In what has otherwise been a career lacking highlights at the professional level, one Auburn football alum is going to get the biggest one of his career. Jarrett Stidham, Auburn’s starting QB from 2017-2018, has been named the starter by Raiders head coach Josh McDaniel after benching Derek Carr.

Stidham has served as the backup to the aforementioned Carr this season following Marcus Mariota’s departure for Atlanta. Prior to joining the Raiders, Stidham was Tom Brady and Cam Newton’s backup for two seasons in 2019 and 2020 and saw no game action in 2021 following pre-season back surgery.

Stidham has seen game action in three games this season, completing 8/13 passes for 72 yards, no touchdowns, and no interceptions. He also saw multiple relief appearances in New England following injuries to Newton. In those games he completed 24/48 passes for 270 yards, two touchdowns, and four interceptions....
