Sarcasm.
Imagine that.
The allegations that Fitzgerald denies responsibility for are pretty ugly.

I hope Auburn never tries to pull this kind of crap. I'd rather lose games than have a coach like this ass.

https://www.knoxnews.com/story/sports/c ... 401942007/

"12 text messages in Tennessee NCAA recruiting scandal that buried Jeremy Pruitt, staff"

.

"Pruitt received a six-year show-cause penalty. That means a university cannot hire a coach or recruiter without being subjected to penalties during the length of the ban unless the NCAA signs off.
Show-cause penalties also were given to assistant coaches Derrick Ansley (two years), Brian Niedermeyer (five) and Shelton Felton (four); recruiting director Bethany Gunn (five) and assistant director Chantryce Boone (10); director of player personnel Drew Hughes (four); and student assistant Michael Magness (three)."

Love this one. In response to ncaa rule changes, a thumbs down emoji was shared.

I wondered why no post-season ban for systemic cheating - have state AG threaten the ncaa.

Direct bribes from the program during closed recruiting periods are now considered NIL money? :angry-cussing:

Maybe that's why the NCAA imposed such harsh multi-year bans on the coaches. Still a deterrent.

Auburn has long complained that the ncaa is favorable to sabin,'s Alabama in the west, while in the east now the blind eye went to urban and now sabin's protégé, Kirby.

Now another huge scandal reveals that Pruit was handing out wads of cash while at Alabama.

Like trump, some people and institutions shed criminal consequences in broad daylight, top Alabama players selling autographs every weekend a Tuscaloosa mall,, no holding calls and very little investigations of recruiting violations and even a basketball player bring a loaded gun to escalate an argument to murder.

Poor Pruitt didn't realize that he couldn't do at Tennessee as he did at Alabama. I guess he saw Kirby getting away with the same ol' recruiting crimes at Georgia as he had at Alabama and figured he could too, not realizing that Kirby was filling empty space.

Of course it still bothers me about Cam.
Constant trouble at Florida
1) * he was caught using the Urban Football Team's Cheat Sheets for Tests
* But Florida was never investigated for keeping the Cheat Sheets

2) * Miss State made the original complaint based on Cam's father turning down their offer. Mullen went to the ncaa with a copy of a text for the father wanting more money.
In what context doesn't more mean more than previously offered?
Again no investigation

Yet there was a intense investigation of the college kid. A kid who listened to he CC coach he had lived with for 2 years and picked the team with the most accomplished O-line. Bonus it was closest team to Mom.

First we refuse to let a&m drown out coach and player communications by seating their student section over the opposing teams bench and now, oh god say it ain't so, the big bad longhorns will be subject to the indignities of seeing a finger dign of upside down horns.

Why is Alabama head coach Nick Saban giving a subtle "Horns Up" sign in Austin? Traitor!

:headscratch:
Harsin is from Boise, current pop 235K.
Aldean is from Macon, current pop 150K.
Neither are "small", but neither are 750,000 people.

Protest clips from Aldean's racist, victimized, ammosexual video are from Canada and from Ukraine in 2013  . His "small town" Whites will be ready if we're invaded by Canadian or Ukrainian radicals. :laughing-rolling:

Yeah, actual city limit populations often have no meaning. Use Google Earth to look at boise, it's a lot like Pensacola where developers have chosen to prevent city limit expansions with the accompanying restrictive rules and regulations.

One in ten pensacolians live within the city limits. There are no malls or shopping centers within the city and until 5 or 6 years ago there were no grocery stores. Yet we have plenty of all these services.
As opposed to Jacksonville where the city limits extend to the county line.

I haven't heard the Aldean song and don't know anything about him. I have read the lyrics, and I'm guessing it's mostly the imagery in the video that's causing all the angst. Sadly, however, although race is not mentioned in the song, the list of crimes at the first seems to subconsciously say "Black guys being thugs." And that's probably intentional, so Aldean hasn't picked up me for a new fan.

Again, I don't know anything about him, but Aldean reminds me of another old song...
"… And it's up against the wall Redneck Mother
Mother, who has raised her son so well
He's thirty-four and drinking in a honky tonk
Just kicking hippies asses and raising hell"

But that's satire. Big difference
