Yeah, and the commentators will be saying "There's May, in the Microsoft #10 jersey, completing a pass to the Starbucks #11 that's Smith-Njigba"

I like the neon green trim on the Seahawks' uniforms and am not sure what's wrong with the field design. What has it looked like in the past?

I'm not too perturbed about the field, it looks like all the others but the Superbowl logo is a little over the top.

Seems oversized and the Miami Vice colors aren't too San Francisco.

:headscratch: It's a Seattle team. Trying to keep up with the Ducks? -0-?

Logo and colors are irregardless of the teams.

 I lost track and thought you were referring to the neon green trim. I don't mind vibrant colors. Would tie-dye or batik have been more San Francisco? That would be cool, too. 8-)

Late breaking story from ESPN Sportscenter..........2/25/2015

Pete Carroll, head coach of the Seattle Seahawks, is reported to be very near to signing on as a special consultant to The Pope in Vatican City. The Pope looks to recruit Carroll to be a spokesman for the Catholic Church because he is the first man in history that made 100 million people jump up and yell "Jesus Christ!" at the same time.

More information will be reported as this story is followed.

Go Walker, Go Seahawks! No team with 0 points in the first half has ever won the SB.

Nice to see Washington's Brandi Carlile, a married lesbian, sing America the Beautiful. Progress.

Why did the Pats get introduced to Black Sabbath?

Why did the Pats get introduced to Black Sabbath?
For over 20 years, the New England Patriots used Ozzy Osbourne's solo hit "Crazy Train" as their iconic home game entrance song at Gillette Stadium. The connection was cemented in September 2005, when Osbourne performed the song live to celebrate the team's Super Bowl XXXIX banner unveiling. Following his death in July 2025, the team paid tribute to him.

Jason Myers, SB record 5 FGs. 17 points, so far, most by a kicker in SB history. :-||

Does he get MVP? Does Walker (27/135)? Does the entire D?

I vote for the D.

Almost feel sorry for Drake Maye.

23 years old and probably shell shocked.

But fuck Robert Kraft.

Ditto, better than the '85 Bears? They gave it to Kenneth Walker, which I'm okay with.

Ditto. I was hoping he'd have a good game while Seattle still won. He showed some flash in the 4th, except for the 3 TOs.
