Never taken a cruise, probably never will. As a way of vacationing, it has no appeal to me. Ugly Americans, herded like cattle, factory food and no chance to really getting to know a destination.

Additionally, when something goes south on a megaship, the cruise lines are never, ever prepared. These ships are seriously understaffed and what staff they have always seem to be undertrained.

So is this thread topic about cruise ships?

A woman with a severe nut allergy says she was kicked off an American Airlines flight after crew members told her they are required to serve nuts

A 26-year-old woman from England said she was booted from an American Airlines flight because the airline would not accommodate her nut allergy.

In a series of tweets, Sophie Draper — who has a severe nut allergy that puts her at risk for life-threatening anaphylaxis — said she first mentioned her health condition at the gate when boarding a flight from London to New York in December 2021....

Or drive.

That's pedaling, not "drive". There's also motoring, paddling, rowing or sailing with different craft.

Geez, just grow a pair and admit that you didn't pay attention to or comprehend the posted flight details.

I thought it was about traveling. It could be a cruise, a drive, a flight, a trek through fragrant meadows, or a crawl from CT to CA across wretched barren shit land and hiding from cars on the road at night. Traveling.

Edit: this was in response to Useless' post about cruise ships and if that's what this thread is about.

True, but this tangent is about Useless posting that one can "drive" from London to NYC, and since then his desperate pussy deflection, even with his new avatar, from admitting his fuck-up.

Shit, if he drove from London to New York I bet it took all of his cars, all but two cats, the second largest koi, and a hummingbird hammer.

Wow.

Completely short sited and a contamination of the brand. Have they never seen the YouTube fights at Great America?

That's where they're headed.

Agreed, wow.

Are Great America fights related to high prices? Companies are trying to recoup pandemic losses and can get away with it because consumers are loving Joe's strong economy.

Inflation be damned, consumers are shopping their way through it

Hmm. Maybe they needed to raise prices just to pay for basic maintenance or to purchase a new truck or two.

... The group then figured out what had caused the evacuation — a vehicle’s front wheel had completely buckled and broken, blocking the path used for all of the tours....
Maybe they could invest in vehicles with reverse gears and some wide spots for turning around.

It's sad, really. Disney has it faults - in fact there are several law firms around Orlando that specialize in suing Disney, but winning isn't by any means guaranteed because they have historically avoided doing anything badly stupid or clearly dangerous. F'rinstance: https://www.justinziegler.net/disney-ac ... lip-falls/

To have no reasonable escape from a lion enclosure and running a defective ride through it isn't very Disney-esque.

There is that. We went through a drive-in "safari" at a park on Olympic Peninsula a couple of years ago. They had some big cats, etc., but they weren't loose. What was loose was some very assertive yaks, giraffes, and some buffalo that crowded up around the Jeep. I don't think I'd care to go inside with loose lions, though.

The walking videographer said something about the lions no longer being visible. I'll bet they were lured to a different enclosure before the evacuation.
