Sad pic, but besides that, do a lot of people keep a "dash" cam running in their back window all the time?

Yellowstone National Park Epic Wolf encounter April 2022

Cool.
Junction Butte Wolf Pack Surrounds Grizzly Bear in Yellowstone National Park (December 29, 2019)

... This was a incredible sight to witness as most bears should be in hibernation during this time (December 29th). Grizzlies take over wolf kills 80% of the time in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem.

Junction Butte Wolf Pack originally took down an elk. When they came back to the carcass they were surprised to find a grizzly bear had stolen it. Eventually, the wolves moved on leaving the bear alone with their kill....
Elk falls off waterfall to her death at my feet!!!

:o Must be extremely rare whether videoed or not.

Here's a story and video of some deer that are getting high from nitrous oxide emissions coming off a pile of leaves.

I'm looking forward to our usual get together in the Fall. 8-)

A good start . . .

Knife-wielding roosters kill 2 men in cockfighting events in India

Fwiw, it's nearly impossible to bleed to death from a hand injury. Must be more to the story.

 You know where I live, hominy. I don't know about those killer roosters, but I figure we can give them a run for their money. Especially when I pull out a couple of heat crazed Gila monster lizards to turn loose on those chicken little poseurs. I don't care if they do have razor spurs on their legs. They'll hustle off once the Gila monsters get moving.

 I meant get together in the Fall for deer-style leaf huffing, not for knife-wielding poseur chicken intimidating. Sorry.

You have unstomped Gila monsters? Cool.

Not to worry. Lots of woods and undeveloped land around here. Many places where leaves have lounged for years. All we have to do is gather them up into a pile and wait. I figure the heat from our bodies will accelerate the process. And I mean to get down to it in a big way this time.....submerge myself into the pile and stay there as long as i can stand it. Only the top of my head will be visible. I'll scare hell out of the deer if they try to come huff our stuff. Might even wear my bear suit.

Oh, Gila monsters are immune to nitrous. They will protect us. Or kill us.

I've never seen a cocktail fight, but I have seen the knives used in cock fights in antique stores, in movies and in books.
I've also heard to handlers having their wrists slit open by the roosters natural spur

"cocktail fight" - thrown drinks, a bartender competition or a screwdriver literally taking on a Cuba libre?

The article says hand, but even a cut wrist is difficult to die from when there are people there to apply pressure or a tourniquet. Most anything below the elbows and knees is survivable with first aid available.

Yes, I did. Maybe I can find it again.

From memory
1 guy had the artery in his groin cut and blead to death.

They said the guy with the hand injury had multiple cuts and a main nerve(?) in his hand cut. He also died of blood loss by the time he got to a hospital.

If I find it again I'll update this post

Not sure this is it, but close about the groin incident

Did you forget the link again?

Yes, a sliced femoral artery can be fatal, and really difficult to provide first aid for. It's basically rapid surgery or funeral planning.

oops

Different article, but similar
I googled "rooster cuts man in groin", and had to go back and add "2023" because there were so many incidents from different years.

Well, they are trained to attack cocks, after all  . Karma if their "manhood" gets attacked, IMO.

Don't I get extra points for including the link.
