Probably a nope to all of the above. Survivor doesn't need him, plenty of winners fade back into the woodwork.

Afaik, the jury is still out on Veterans in Need or maybe the jury doesn't care. There doesn't seem to be an abundance of outrage or accolades on Twitter or reddit. Seems like the community is ready to move on.

Don't know if you get HBO Max, but there's a hit show that's won a bunch of awards called The White Lotus.

The creator/writer/producer/director is Mike White from Survivor David vs. Goliath which was a pretty good season. Angelina Kealy and Kara Kay had cameos in the first episode of the second season.

It's pretty good, in a mindless enterainment sort of way. I'm almost done with the second season.

Netflix film "The Pale Blue Eye" is a lot of fun for Edgar Allan Poe fans, and a good film even if you're not. Premise is that Poe assists in solving a crime during the time he was at West Point, and through those events picks up some ideas for some of his later works. "Poe" is not the lead character, but plays a vital role. Poe fans can recognize several references (including the title).
