What are you watching?

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Carolyn is definitely a little frayed at the edges, and I thought she was foolish enough to go home with an idol in her pocket, but it worked for her. Looney as she is, I still sorta like her. Yam Yam, on the other hand, not so much.

"Fuck Nick Wilson" seems to be a popular refrain.

Has every Survivor winner been a sleazeball at least once during a season?

Hmmm....not every one but certainly most of them. In the end it is a cutthroat/kill or be killed game.

The ultimate winner eventually has to betray everyone, but some can play the game without becoming an actual asshole. Others undoubtedly came into the game as long-time assholes.

Matthew's shoulder injury was much worse than shown on the show. The man's a beast to be able to stand what he did.

"The shoulder is great now! I had surgery this past November. Survivor was very generous in not showing my suffering. They don’t allude to how much pain and damage I actually did to myself. So I dislocated it in Day 2, and then in the third episode, I dislocated it again in the challenge. You hear me say, “Ow, my shoulder! Ow, my arm!” I put it back in the socket in the challenge and finished the challenge with Kane, not knowing that I had fractured my humerus, fractured my scapula, tore my rotator cuff, tore my labrum and my subscapularis muscle had to be reattached. The laundry list of surgeries, it was basically three surgeries in one. I was in a tremendous amount of pain and that’s ultimately the decision that I had to make, to listen to my body and leave the game."

The assholery and adavantageageddon continues. For a season that was so hyped it's been a disappointment to me so far. Good characters and personalities being overshadowed by poor gameplay and too much production interference.

I haven't checked it out but I've read that Australian Survivor has been doing everything right and is superior to the Probst dumpster fire.

Frannie was a beast, though
I'd like to be rid of Yam Yam, but I wasn't distraught over bouncing Matt. I've grown to be a bit fond of Carolyn, but I'd sure hate to have to live with her.

New "Ghosts" tonight.
I didn't look up my comment, but I remember saying something like "it's a clever show, but how are they going to sustain a whole season?" Well, now we know. It's one of the most creative and entertaining shows lately, with infinite story lines and great characters.

Of course, I had seen Tim Allen's stand-up routine before he was famous, and thought he was one of the funniest acts I'd ever seen. But then "Home Improvement" came on and I wondered how what is basically a one-joke guy could sustain a TV show. Then, 8 or so years later...

Yeah, but almost too bad she didn't throw the challenge at the end and save Matt. Heat of the moment competition probably precludes that type of strategery.

Seems like Yam is more well liked than the previous edits have let on. Carolyn may be a legend in the making.

Playing the advantage on Yam was a huge blunder.

I don't see how y'all watch this stuff when Grogu is fighting for survival in far more serious circumstances.

I actually forgot I have access to it also. I'll give it a gander.
I just watched the final episode.

Did anyone else watch Ted Lasso and did anyone enjoy it as much as I did?
