Forum post, not verified by me but seems accurate:
PINO’s timeline:

March 6: “I like this stuff. I really get it. People are surprised that I understand it… Every one of these doctors said, ‘How do you know so much about this?’ Maybe I have a natural ability. Maybe I should have done that instead of running for president.”
March 6: “I don't need to have the numbers double because of one ship that wasn't our fault.”
Mar 6th 319 cases
March 8: “We have a perfectly coordinated and fine tuned plan at the White House for our attack on CoronaVirus.”
Mar 8th 541 cases & 15 deaths
March 9: “This blindsided the world.”
March 9: "The Fake News Media and their partner, the Democrat Party, is doing everything within its semi-considerable power (it used to be greater!) to inflame the CoronaVirus situation, far beyond what the facts would warrant.”
Mar 9th 704 cases & 26 deaths
March 10: "It will go away. Just stay calm. It will go away."
March 10: “As you know, it’s about 600 cases, it’s about 26 deaths, within our country. And had we not acted quickly, that number would have been substantially more.”
March 10: “And it hit the world. And we’re prepared, and we’re doing a great job with it. And it will go away. Just stay calm. It will go away.”
Mar 10th 994 cases & 30 deaths
March 11: “I think we’re going to get through it very well.”
Mar 11th 1301 cases & 38 deaths
March 12: “It’s going to go away. ... The United States, because of what I did and what the administration did with China, we have 32 deaths at this point … when you look at the kind of numbers that you’re seeing coming out of other countries, it’s pretty amazing when you think of it.”
Mar 12th 1630 cases & 41 deaths
March 13: Says Food and Drug Administration “will bring, additionally, 1.4 million tests on board next week and 5 million within a month. I doubt we’ll need anywhere near that.”
Mar 13th 2183 cases & 48 deaths
March 14: “We’re using the full power of the federal government to defeat the virus, and that’s what we’ve been doing.” Also retweeted supporter Candace Owens who cited “good news” on coronavirus, including that, “Italy is hit hard, experts say, because they have the oldest population in Europe (average age of those that have died is 81).”
Mar 14th 2770 cases & 57 deaths
March 15: “This is a very contagious virus. It’s incredible. But it’s something that we have tremendous control over.”
Mar 15th 3613 cases & 69 deaths
March 16: “If you’re talking about the virus, no, that’s not under control for any place in the world. ... I was talking about what we’re doing is under control, but I’m not talking about the virus.”
Mar 16th 4596 cases & 87 deaths

"Fair use" intro: Trump dithered and lied, tens of thousands died.
Trump Didn’t Like Azar’s Warnings. So He Disappeared Him.

The more we learn about what went on behind the scenes during the critical early days of the coronavirus pandemic, the more Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar had emerged as a rare and unlikely hero pushing the White House for an early response.

Speaking truth to power has its price in the Trump administration. The former Eli Lilly executive was shouted down by White House aides as “alarmist” and sidelined by Jared Kushner, Mike Pence and others willing to give the president a more rosy view. And on Sunday night, Trump lashed out at Azar by name for the first time, following a New York Times report that Azar had “directly warned Mr. Trump of the possibility of a pandemic during a call on Jan. 30, the second warning he delivered to the president about the virus in two weeks.”

After complaining about “mayhem” at the White House, Azar's future is uncertain but his attempts to get top officials and President Trump to pay attention to the coming pandemic should not be lost in the fog of war as Trump recasts history in his favor....

As the Washington Post reported in its deep dive into the administration’s response during the first 70 days of the coronavirus pandemic (which this column draws heavily from), Azar first learned from the director of the CDC, Robert Redfield, in a phone call on or about Jan. 1 that an unknown respiratory illness was sickening people in Wuhan.

Azar had his chief of staff notify the National Security Council and by Jan. 7 had begun convening a task force that included Redfield and Dr. Anthony Fauci, the now famous infectious disease scientist from the NIH. By mid-January, they had begun drafting contingency plans to enforce the Defense Production Act.

Nobody had yet briefed President Trump on what was looking more and more like a pandemic. That was left to Azar, who phoned the president at Mar-a-Lago on Saturday, Jan. 18....

From the time of their first phone call on Jan. 18, when Azar told him about the virus, Trump held eight rallies with thousands of people assembled, and played golf six times.

Azar ran the administration’s response until Trump tapped Pence on Feb. 26. Azar has been sidelined ever since, with his agency disempowered in decision-making and his performance pilloried by a range of White House officials....

Immortalizing this...

A question that probably some of you are thinking of if you’re totally into that world, which I find to be very interesting. So supposing we hit the body with a tremendous — whether it’s ultraviolet or very powerful light. And I think you said that hasn’t been checked, but you’re going test it. Supposing you brought the light inside the body, which you can do either through the skin or in some other way. And I think you said you’re going test that too. Sounds interesting. And then I see the disinfectant where it knocks it out in a minute. One minute. And is there a way we can do something like that by injection inside or almost a cleaning. Because you see it gets in the lungs and it does a tremendous number in the lungs. It would be interesting to check you’re going have to use medical doctors with that, but it sounds interesting to me. And so we’ll see. But the whole concept of the light, the way it kills it in one minute, that’s pretty powerful.

Trump's daily briefings warned repeatedly about the coronavirus in January and February, officials say

President Trump's daily intelligence briefing included detailed warnings by early January about the new coronavirus spreading through China, ABC News reported in early April. But there were actually prominent warnings in more than a dozen of the classified President's Daily Brief reports throughout January and February, The Washington Post reported Monday evening.

"For weeks, the PDB — as the report is known — traced the virus's spread around the globe, made clear that China was suppressing information about the contagion's transmissibility and lethal toll, and raised the prospect of dire political and economic consequences," the Post reports, citing current and former U.S. officials. "But the alarms appear to have failed to register with the president, who routinely skips reading the PDB and has at times shown little patience for even the oral summary he takes two or three times per week."

... Trump would not have been the only White House official to get the intelligence warnings about the spreading coronavirus, and the other officials would discuss a threat this prominent with the president, David Priess, a former CIA officer who briefed President George W. Bush, told the Post. Trump "can get the best intelligence in the world and still not make good decisions based on it." ...
Lots of tragic info, too much to excerpt:

The coronavirus enemy remained 'invisible' because the Trump administration didn't make the effort to see it

Trump Called Out To His Face After Blaming Obama For 'Broken' Coronavirus Tests

... But Obama left office in 2017 and COVID-19 didn’t exist until last year, as CNN’s Jim Acosta was quick to point out to the president.

“You say ‘broken tests,’” Acosta said. “It’s a new virus, so how could the tests be broken?”

Trump was unfazed by the timeline.

“We had broken tests. We had tests that were obsolete. We had tests that didn’t take care of people,” Trump said....

Trump Blocks Fauci Testimony Before Democratic House, But He Is Free to Speak Before Republican Senate
“We have been informed by an administration official that the White House has blocked Dr. Fauci from testifying,” House Appropriations Committee spokesman Evan Hollander said

In a move that is all but impossible to label as anything but partisan, the White House has blocked their top infectious disease expert, Dr. Anthony Fauci, from testifying before a Democratic-controlled House subcommittee next week, but will allow the doctor to testify in front of a Republican-led Senate committee later this month.

After the Washington Post broke the story late Friday, White House spokesman Judd Deere, released a statement that said allowing Fauci to appear before Congress would be “counterproductive” to the government’s coronavirus response teams’ efforts. But Deere conveniently did not mention anything about the doctor’s May 12 scheduled appearance before a Republican-controlled Senate committee....
This admin* is “counterproductive”.

Washington Post Sums Up Donald Trump’s Coronavirus Failings With A Scorching Analogy

... In a column published Thursday, the newspaper’s board said the U.S. is currently “reeling from an absence of leadership” by Trump and his administration.

“As the house burns, Mr. Trump is standing on the front lawn, boasting of success, denying responsibility, ordering others to grab the garden hose and promising that everything will be back to normal soon,” the board wrote, warning: “His fecklessness is costing the country dearly.”

... It doubted Trump was up to the job, however, given how the president has essentially “passed responsibility to the governors, is now urging them to reopen too soon, risking more infections, more death and still more economic loss.”

“The nation’s economic implosion demands action, but the correct response is to reopen in a way that is sustainable and does not cost thousands of additional lives,” the board concluded. “Mr. Trump not only does not know how to get there, but he also appears unwilling to seriously tackle the problem. We may soon see terrible consequences from his abdication.”

AP Exclusive: Docs show top WH officials buried CDC report

The decision to shelve detailed advice from the nation’s top disease control experts for reopening communities during the coronavirus pandemic came from the highest levels of the White House, according to internal government emails obtained by The Associated Press.

The files also show that after the AP reported Thursday that the guidance document had been buried, the Trump administration ordered key parts of it to be fast-tracked for approval.

The trove of emails show the nation's top public health experts at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention spending weeks working on guidance to help the country deal with a public health emergency, only to see their work quashed by political appointees with little explanation.

The document, titled “Guidance for Implementing the Opening Up America Again Framework,” was researched and written to help faith leaders, business owners, educators and state and local officials as they begin to reopen. It included detailed “decision trees,” or flow charts aimed at helping local leaders navigate the difficult decision of whether to reopen or remain closed.
:( People will die, lots of them.
White House spokeswoman Kayleigh McEnany said Friday that the documents had not been approved by CDC Director Robert Redfield. The new emails, however, show that Redfield cleared the guidance.

This new CDC guidance — a mix of advice already released along with newer information — had been approved and promoted by the highest levels of its leadership, including Redfield. Despite this, the administration shelved it on April 30...
We should not be surprised. A week ago:
Trump’s New Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany Lied In Her First Briefing

President Donald Trump’s fourth White House press secretary, Kayleigh McEnany, made her podium debut yesterday and promised reporters that she would never lie. McEnany continued with the press conference, where she proceeded to lie.

It was Associated Press reporter Jill Colvin who critically asked McEnany if she pledged never to lie while addressing the media.

“I will never lie to you,” McEnany responded. “You have my word on that.”

McEnany’s premiere at the podium included a litany of untruths and/or false claims, including about the protests in Michigan, claims against China, and the origins of COVID-19, Michael Flynn, and the Mueller investigation....
