The Lincoln Project

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Victim blaming, despite the multiple allegations dating back years and predating both TLP and its coverup? Hmmm, isn't that what the Pussy Grabber in Chief does?

Agreed, in 2020, other than any torts or crimes. However, I'm with George Conway that it's time for TLP to shut down. Any surviving altruists and patriots can find other ways to contribute.
We ask too much of people sometimes. We put up with elected officials slimery, corporate skullduggery, and the clay feet of our families and friends, but expect our heroes to be beyond reproach. Nobody's perfect.
This slimy skullduggery seems pretty severe, bad enough for George Conway to retch in disapproval. I have no problem appreciating their 2020 political work while condemning them structurally, especially the finances. I'm glad that all I ever did was repost, not donate.

Understood. I've noticed, though, that if a guy saves a kid from a burning house but it turns out later he's patted some women on the ass, he'll be forever known as an ass-patter pervert and not a kid-saving hero. I'm not condoning ass-patting of unwilling women, but it doesn't look like that should be the defining part of his life.

I am all for ass patting. I even once considered joining a female volleyball team just for that reason. But never mind that; no one should be surprised that high level political operatives have their own agendas and motivations that may be sexual or financial in nature. That's the American way for the past sixty years or so; it's just more blatant now.

Supporting the 'rats' tweet:
Trump can't blame Dems for criminal case because most witnesses are insiders: former prosecutor

... "They weren't named, but they were identified. Some of the most sharply incriminating witnesses against Donald Trump are who? Trump lawyer number one, Trump lawyer number two, Trump lawyer number three, Trump employee number one, number two," said Kirschner during his Friday appearance on The Last Word with Lawrence O'Donnell. "Donald Trump loves to complain that the people who are always going after him are an angry group of Democrats. Well you know what? he's not going to have that complaint available to him at his criminal trial because it's going to be his lawyers and former lawyers, his employees, his former employees, who are providing the lion's share of the incriminating information. Boy, that makes it very tough to mount a defense that all the prosecution witnesses are out to get him."
As we discussed 10 days ago, NC11's Mark Meadows is likely prominent on the list of snitches.
