All good, clam chowder isn't for everyone. If that's not your thing, you could always substitute the clam chowder for cream of mushroom soup for a tasty popsicle snack!

Cream of celery is more summery.

Yeah that's true, it's a little more refreshing.

Here's an idea:

Cottage cheese, cucumber, tomato. Put it into a blender and blend into a goopy slurry. Freeze into popsicles.

Now you have a healthy refreshing snack packed full of protein. Good for after a hard workout.

Substitute plain yogurt or sour cream for cottage cheese, leave the tomatoes chunky and you've got chilled cucumber soupcicles.

So far, I would at least try all of those.

Scrambled eggs with ingredients of choice popsicles for breakfast on the go.

If chunkiness of clam chowder isn't your thing, and you prefer a soothing chill without losing the pleasant taste of clam, substitute clam chowder for plain old clam juice.

Why hasn't coca cola capitalized on the carbonated clam juice bonanza yet?

You guys remind me of the opinion of a friend of mine regarding bourbon and coke - it's a desecration to them both. To take one of New England's greatest culinary contributions and turn it into a popsicle is beyond words. "Ask not only if you can, but also if you should"

I support home and locally made clam chowda popsicles. Sustainable harvest and organic ingredients are pluses, too.

You have to know Whack9 a little bit. His palate can be tainted at times by external factors.

:D I meant New England local. I'm not sure if anyone in North Carolina can make it correctly.

I used to enjoy Western North Carolina freshwater mussel chowda ;) , however:

I'd rather have one baked bean popsicle than ten clam chowder ones.

I'll see your chowdersicle and raise you two avocado popsicles.
