2024 Elections

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

To be fair, trump is helping.
The Lord helps those who help themselves.
God hell. I think you've stumbled onto the Republican strategy by accident. As well as their justification for it. Take a victory lap.
Stumbled?

I strode into it firmly and confidently, eyes wide shut.

So there.

Tip of the iceberg, but that's a nasty tip.

In no way is he suited or qualified for the job.

I think this guy needs his own thread. Chances are that he and an actual ape woman will be representing Georgia in the US Senate.

Not that I dispute the info, but GA Intel Unlimited's YT page is limited to this single hit piece and is apparently also limited to not having a website.

That's a front for Walker's primary opponent, Gary Black (agriculture commissioner).
Image

Agricultural career

... He spent 40 years in the farm business and is a cattle farmer in Jackson County, specifically in Commerce. Until his 2010 campaign for agriculture commissioner, Black's primary job was president and lobbyist for the Georgia Agribusiness Council, a position to which he was elected in 1989 and held for 21 years....

Agriculture Commissioner of Georgia

... Black opposed Obama-era EPA environmental protection regulations, such as proposed rules on pesticides and the Clean Water Rule (also called the Waters of the United States rule), which Black called "wretched" (the rule was ultimately revoked by the Trump administration).

Black is a supporter of Donald Trump. In 2016, Black endorsed then-candidate Trump, who appointed Black to his agriculture policy advisory council. At the time, Black criticized federal power, especially agricultural regulations.

After Trump was defeated in his 2020 bid for re-election, Black supported Republican efforts to restrict voting rights in Georgia.

U.S. Senate campaign

... In announcing his Senate run, Black said he intended to rely on his name recognition from prior statewide elections, strong base of rural support, and staunch Trump support. He praised Trump for "all the good things he's done the past four years" and dodged questions about whether he accepted that Joe Biden was legitimately elected president. Many of Black's largest campaign contributors were from Georgia agribusiness. About one-third of Georgia's sheriffs, mostly from less populous rural counties, endorsed Black for Senate. During his campaign, Black took conservative stances and opposed the bipartisan $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill.
Even so, looks like Herschel is an even bigger kiss ass:
Donald Trump endorsed another candidate, Herschel Walker, in the Republican primary.

It's a Republican primary, you're expecting a civics class on good citizenship? 😉

Republicans have been preaching doom and gloom, as well as bullshit and nonsense for about a dozen years now. Sorry you missed it. One thing that didn't happen to me as an infant was crawling out of Connecticut. Your turn.

Ummm, we're discussing RepuQs. Either you feel more positively towards them than the rest of us do - ick - or you're unable to keep up - sad.

When I wear tennis shoes, I put them on my feet.

But you, seeing as how you live in a tennis shoe, probably don't understand the proper usage of such, other than to piss and moan about imaginary stuffs.

I've long been a fan of this guy, the rare level headed politico that seemingly can serve for the sake of the country.

Maybe what's old can become new again.

Ranking the five Democrats most likely to win party nod if Biden doesn’t run

Vice President Harris - Meh.

Pete Buttigieg - I think he's great, and I doubt that being gay will matter to swing voters now.

Elizabeth Warren - At 50 she would have my enthusiastic support, but she's too old now.

Bernie Sanders - Ditto.

Amy Klobuchar - No, too con, not just for me but also for inspiring energetic support.

So, I guess it's Pete among these 5, but I'd be fine with other viable options, too.

If that's the best same ol' same ol' the Dems can come up with, they may not deserve to win.

A silver lining is that the GQP will nominate 45SHOLE or a 45SHOLE sycophant - certainly beatable.
