Ex President* Trump

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Graham Hopes Trump Stays ‘Leader’ of GOP, Says Enemies Will ‘Get Erased’ If They Try to Oust Him

Funny, I also hope that former PINO finalizes the Repugs' suicide by continuing to "lead" them. Yes, we can all get along. These articles, deliciously in the uber right-wing National Review, demonstrate how self-destructive Lindsey is:

To their (surprising) credit, a lot of the Q-loons seem to admit right up they were "duped" and "scammed." Turned on Trump way faster than most of the trumpaloons.

I wish I could share your optimism. We still live in a country where 74,216,722 voted for former PINO and nearly 150 members of Congress voted to reject the proven election after the treasonous and deadly riot. :angry-banghead:

I feel ya, I keep waffling on adding Biden's tweets at the top..... but... they'll just be so boring (normal) and infrequent it's probably a waste. So I've just been monitoring how much he tweets.

What does everyone else think? Should we have the latest Biden tweets?

Hard to top Dolt .45, but Kamala's tweets might be livelier than Joe's. For real fire, though, go with AOC and/or Cawthorn.

I prefer the small header. Usually I just ignore all the verbiage at the top.

This is of course crazy.

https://www.nytimes.com/2021/01/22/us/p ... d5IhaObpbr
WASHINGTON — The Justice Department’s top leaders listened in stunned silence this month: One of their peers, they were told, had devised a plan with President Donald J. Trump to oust Jeffrey A. Rosen as acting attorney general and wield the department’s power to force Georgia state lawmakers to overturn its presidential election results.

The unassuming lawyer who worked on the plan, Jeffrey Clark, had been devising ways to cast doubt on the election results and to bolster Mr. Trump’s continuing legal battles and the pressure on Georgia politicians. Because Mr. Rosen had refused the president’s entreaties to carry out those plans, Mr. Trump was about to decide whether to fire Mr. Rosen and replace him with Mr. Clark.

The department officials, convened on a conference call, then asked each other: What will you do if Mr. Rosen is dismissed?

The answer was unanimous. They would resign.

Their informal pact ultimately helped persuade Mr. Trump to keep Mr. Rosen in place, calculating that a furor over mass resignations at the top of the Justice Department would eclipse any attention on his baseless accusations of voter fraud. Mr. Trump’s decision came only after Mr. Rosen and Mr. Clark made their competing cases to him in a bizarre White House meeting that two officials compared with an episode of Mr. Trump’s reality show “The Apprentice,” albeit one that could prompt a constitutional crisis.

There will be some fascinating subpoenaed, under oath, insider testimony at the various criminal trials.

There went the neighborhood:
Members are quitting Mar-a-Lago because it has become a 'sad' and 'dispirited' place since Trump moved in, author says

... "They're walking away from him. Even here, people don't like him."

Members, who pay $200,000 to join the club, have voiced their concern about Trump's return to Mar-a-Lago.

It has been reported that his neighbors have been taking legal to prevent the former president from permanently residing there. They are reportedly taking legal action to try and prevent the move from becoming permanent, according to The Washington Post.

The neighbors wrote a secret letter to Palm Beach authorities and the US Secret Service arguing that Trump has no legal right to live at Mar-a-Lago full-time, The Post reported.

It said that authorities should notify Trump that he is not allowed to become a permanent resident to avoid an "embarrassing situation" whereby he would be evicted, the paper said.
