In August 2018, Cohen pleaded guilty to breaking campaign finance laws, admitting paying hush money of $130,000 and $150,000 "at the direction of a candidate for federal office" to two women who alleged affairs with that candidate, "with the purpose of influencing the election". The figures match payments made to adult film actress Stormy Daniels and McDougal....
It's a little more complicated with paying off McDougal because it was funneled through the TRE45QN-friendly National Enquirer, which bought the rights to McDougal's story then spiked it.
In June 2021, the Federal Election Commission (FEC) found that the National Enquirer violated U.S. election laws and the $150,000 paid by AMI to McDougal amounted to an illegal campaign contribution. AMI agreed to a fine of $187,500. Because the FEC was equally divided on party lines, it could not pursue further investigation into Trump, who accordingly will not be punished or be the subject of further inquiry by the FEC.
If Cohen and the paper trail could convince a jury that the National Enquirer was reimbursed by Dolt .45 then the unreported McDougal hush money was just as illegal as the unreported Daniels hush money. Why is this not even being discussed?
In addition to former President Donald Trump’s alleged role in the $130,000 hush payment to adult film actress Stormy Daniels, sources familiar with the matter told ABC News the Manhattan District Attorney’s office is also investigating a $150,000 payment to Playboy model Karen McDougal, who, like Daniels, claimed to have had an affair with Trump.
As with Fascist DerSantis it looks like Bragg is lurking here and stealing my ideas.
... That the Manhattan investigation allegedly includes the McDougal payment, a detail first reported by the Wall Street Journal, raises the possibility Trump could face criminal charges over alleged attempts to keep both women from going public with their stories before the 2016 presidential election. Or, prosecutors could use the second case to suggest a pattern of conduct....

And this is why lawyers tell their clients to STFU.
No one turns themselves in better than me. Best turner in er. I have many friends, so many. Some, very rich. And some, turn themselves in better than others. Believe me.
You left out that it was a "beautiful arraignment".
You forgot - "Now send me money"
And his supporters don't see anything odd about being asked yet again to send their contributions to support a supposed billionaire.
I don’t know why he’s so upset that the grand jury voted to indict him. It’s the first time he’s ever won a popular vote.
