500 pages might be a bit much.

"Welcome to American Bridge 21st Century's Ron DeSantis opposition research hub. This website exists to help anyone understand the reality his career, his tenure as Florida Governor, and his record on issues that matter to Americans.

So, who is Ron DeSantis? He's a failed governor. He's a threat to Social Security and Medicare. He's a corrupt and authoritarian career politician, and he's a policy extremist who's out of touch with the voters on every issue.

RESEARCH REPORTS
Ron DeSantis Is A Failed Governor
Ron DeSantis' justification for running for president is what he calls the Florida Blueprint. But facing crisis after crisis in the state, DeSantis failed to rise to the occasion, and the results speak for themselves:

Read The Reports:

🆘 In Metric After Metric, DeSantis' Florida Fell Behind The Nation
Numbers don't lie. Under DeSantis, Florida was one of the worst states in the nation for child health care access, and had some of the highest health insurance premiums in the nation. 20% of Floridians lacked health insurance entirely -- more than almost any other state. School quality declined, and Florida became the least affordable state to live in in the country. Water quality also declined, while electricity prices went up.
🏫 Florida's Education System Is Straining From Resource Constraints And Culture War Stunts
Teacher pay in Florida under DeSantis was the 4th lowest in the nation, while the state led nearly every other in the number of books banned. The state faced a massive teacher shortage under his leadership, while he pushed to divert funds away from public schools and into private schools"

Thanks! I anticipate referring to it often. It's missing a 'Fascism' section, though. ;)
American Bridge 21st Century

American Bridge 21st Century or AB PAC is a liberal American Super PAC that supports Democratic candidates and opposes Republican candidates. It was founded by David Brock in 2010 and is associated with Media Matters for America. It is an opposition research hub for the Democratic Party. The group physically tracks and monitors Republican candidates and officials and uses social media to deploy its findings....

Damn, Conservipedia (sp - who cares) was totally lacking in information, but, like a conservative, had to ramble on with some bs, offered this:

"Liberal corporate tyranny occurs when companies apply pressure to local, state and federal governments if they dare cross their treasured beliefs affecting liberalism, homosexual "rights" and immigration laws. Corporate bullies make it known publicly that religious freedom laws that protect Christians are not in the financial interests of local or state governments. Common tactics used by such companies include threats and boycotts while smearing leaders that support such measures. The people elected state governments, but their voice and their concerns take a back seat to corporate bully demands, effectively imposing tyranny of an elitist minority over the majority.

The National Football League is notorious for attacking protections for Christians and for the rule of law. They have threatened the states of Arizona and Georgia by blocking Super Bowls from taking place in those states if legislation passes that they don't like.[1][2]"

Don't "conservatives" lead the pack on attacking and boycotting corporations that do something they don't like? Bites when it's the other side, eh?

Interesting, thanks, but is there a connection to the DeSantis Research Book and American Bridge 21st Century that I'm missing?

Here's the Conservapedia article you cite:

Liberal corporate tyranny

The prose you quote is followed by a looong whiny list of supposed "tyranny". Why does Conservapedia hate the First Amendment's freedom of speech and association? It's telling that a lot of what they are calling "tyranny" is really just a humane response to bigoted christofascist govt actions. Then, the article fails to note that none of these corporations would dare to take these steps against hateful govt unless they were supported by the vast majority of consumers and other Americans.

Florida is yanking $2 billion worth of state assets managed by BlackRock, escalating the GOP standoff with the world’s largest money manager over its ESG investment policies.

I'm beginning to think that even Republicans might reject this pig.

"But almost a year on, Florida's teacher shortage has worsened.

The 'Worst' Shortage Florida Has Ever Seen
There were 5,294 teacher vacancies in Florida in January 2023, according to the Florida Education Association's (FEA) last count of teaching and staff positions advertised on district websites. Furthermore, the number of support staff vacancies was 4,631.

The number of teacher vacancies was up from 4,359 in January 2022 and is far higher than the 2,217 vacancies in January 2019, when DeSantis took office."

So who's advising him that this is a great way to win over voters in a national election?

At what point does it become obvious to even his supporters that this is just political harassment. Rational people don't build prisons in heavily populated areas. Disney notwithstanding, I'd think there would be a lot - a lot - of NIMBY there.

So play a few political games. Fine. But does this idiot really think it's in his best interest to do actual harm to Florida's #1 Golden Goose?
$18.2 Billion in revenue, about 2.5% of the total Florida gdp. But if he smites Disney, it isn't like more people will just go to Universal or SeaWorld. Tourism overall will suffer. How can this guy possibly have any support for this hare-brained stuff?
