House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., said Tuesday he does not know if former President Donald Trump is the “strongest” Republican candidate to compete against President Joe Biden in 2024.

“Can he win that election? Yeah he can,” McCarthy said on CNBC’s “Squawk Box.” “The question is, is he the strongest to win the election?”

Myriad numbers of cases would show that if "any (other) American" did what Trump did, they'd be already well into their very long sentence.

I may not agree with, but I understand:
1. Trump didn't violate any laws;
2. Trump may have violated some minor laws, but everybody else does too;
3. Trump violated some major laws, but he should be pardoned like Nixon;

But I'll never understand 4. Trump violated some major laws but he shouldn't be charged anyway

McCarthy, when pressed about the latest slew of info regarding Trump and co. deleting security camera footage after being asked to retain it, responded "what about Biden and his documents"? Then mentioned a two tiered justice system.

All you really need to do is read the details of each case and you'll see that they are in no way comparable. Read the indictment. And read about details concerning Biden's misandling. Hell, even Pence's mishandling too. No comparison.

But people in America are too stupid and lazy to do that.

These people are willing to wreck the country and rule of law for Donald fucking Trump by helping sow cynicism in government institutions. I know these people aren't stupid. Do they not see how dangerous that is?
