On behalf of the sane, honest and patriotic minority in NC11 I'm appalled. Our shame could only have been alleviated by imprisonment, and convicting ancient and unhealthy TRE45ON isn't worth letting Meadows skate. He was complicit up to his eyebrows, and even published a book after leaving the WH that was full of the same election lies that he now conveniently rejects. Surely a guilty plea could have been extracted, or there is enough evidence to convict P01135809 without Meadows.
NOJackNO!
Idk, I'm assuming Jack is a lot smarter than I am and probably has his eye on a bigger prize.
I don't think the DOJ is allowed to collaborate with Georgia but there's a possibility that while Mark wants to talk to Fani, maybe with what she already has she's not chomping at the bit to talk to Mark.
It's also interesting that nineteen codefendants is being whittled down to a more manageable number.
Thinking that was part of the plan.

That's just it. I think Meadows is as big as the prizes get.

Why not? State and federal prosecutors and LEOs communicate all the time, including on which will prosecute who and when. MAYBE Jack granted immunity because he knows that Fani won't. Fingers crossed.

Fwiw, there is no attorney-client privilege if the attorney is a participant in a criminal conspiracy, but delineating what is privileged and what isn't can be tricky. Of course, if she was never his attorney . . .
Might a contempt citation put P01135809 in jail sooner than anyone predicted? Fingers crossed. Or, would Judge Arthur Engoron (bio) stick to fines?
Rich people always get fines, don't they?
I see contempt enforced on TV shows more than irl, not counting journalists who refuse to reveal sources. Jail would be an effective form of ending the hateful spewing, though.
There must be thousands of netizens pouring over TRE45QN's campaign website and social media searching for further violations. Escalate escalate escalate, lock him up!
... The ruling Wednesday from Colorado District Judge Sarah Wallace clears the way for an unprecedented trial to begin next week, to determine if Trump is disqualified from returning to the White House because of his role in the January 6, 2021, insurrection.
This is the fifth unsuccessful bid by Trump to throw out the Colorado case, which is one of several pending suits trying to derail his candidacy based on the 14th Amendment.
The 14th Amendment, which was ratified after the Civil War, says US officials who take an oath to uphold the Constitution are disqualified from future office if they “engaged in insurrection” or have “given aid or comfort” to insurrectionists. But the Constitution does not spell out how to enforce the ban, and it has only been applied twice since the 1800s.
In a 24-page ruling, Wallace rejected Trump’s argument that questions about his eligibility should be handled by Congress, not courts. She also rejected Trump’s argument that the Colorado election officials don’t have the power to enforce the so-called “insurrectionist ban,” which is enshrined in Section 3 of the 14th Amendment....

So according to trumpian logic, having ones fingers crossed is a legal defence.
So if you have to enter the value of your car on a legal form, you might have a statement that the value is a "best estimate as of today" so as to protect against being accused of lying if the actual value turns out to be a bit different. But - NOBODY, probably including Trumps minions really believes the number you filled in could be substantially off. No way is a garden variety F-150 worth $150K.

Good one. I guess slapping the Trump name on something is supposedly like gold-plating it
So, according to trumpian logic being the bigger is a valid legal defense.
