Epstein list release predictions and followup

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Damn even Nancy Mace is making statements about how this is probably the greatest cover up in American history, saying there are loads of politicians on both sides in the files.

Now Dr. Oz.

Being in the files seems to be a pre-requisite for being a member of the Trump administration. I say that completely seriously. If there's dirt on them, they'll do whatever is wanted of them.

They're not all making the news, but execs, royals and pols are dropping like flies for their association with Epstein and Maxwell, whether or not it's proven that they did anything sick. No wonder they killed him in prison and frightened Maxwell into silence. :o ;)

i killed Jeffrey Epstein. I also killed John Kennedy. I've admitted this numerous times but have suffered no consequences. Big cover up!

Are you 100% sure it was suicide?

I hired neoplacebo to kill Jeffrey Epstein. Damn Blondage and Ka$h for not burning the files on Day 1.

 Killed him twice, once after he was dead. But any attempt to hold me to account will be futile, as I will just say someone hacked my computer and made a ridiculous confession in my name without my knowledge.

No, that's not right. I think once he had a little time in that place and compared it to what he'd been used to, he just couldn't hack it. Hell, I have nothing close to what Epstein had and I'd seriously think about suicide should I find myself in a situation that I'm likely to spend the rest of my life in prison.I just don't think I could bear no more steak or no more beer or no more anything.

Radio: There's justice for the poor, justice for the rich, and then justice for the people in Trump's circle.

Smart. I'm sure no one has ever used that excuse before.

He had served (pretty cushy) time before.
He had not been tried yet.
He knew better than anyone what slack money could buy.
Dolt .45 still had 1 1/2 to 5 1/2 years to pardon him or commute any sentence.

Hasty suicide might be considered extreme given those circumstances.

Maybe so. I knew about his pseudo punishment from the FL case....how he "served his time" at some office during the day and then came back to jail at night, and only serving part of his sentence before being released. I think the charges he was facing when he died or was killed were ones he knew he likely couldn't beat or buy out of. Besides, wasn't that whole thing in 2019? Around the same time the hysteria about Epstein was getting lots of exposure? I've always figured he did kill himself. But I also realize that guys probably get killed or kill themselves in prison almost on a daily basis somewhere in the US. My take on it is based only on what I think I'd feel in that situation.

Prince loses his princeship, gets kicked out of his fancy royal digs and is made to move to less royal digs, and now gets arrested. Somebody should make a movie about this. I can't decide if the end should be the prince getting run over by one of those big two story red buses they have in England or that he gets bitten by a rabid squirrel.

Oh, that scene is in there; they've just not decided whether to insert it at the beginning or the end.

The "misconduct" has nothing to do this sexual abuse of minors. Rather, it's about sharing trade secrets with Epstein. We'll see if the underage girls were payment for the secrets and whether the victims eventually get justice.

More fallout:
Casey Wasserman Must Resign. The Integrity of the 2028 L.A. Olympics Depends on It
The LA28 chair’s ties to Ghislaine Maxwell and the Epstein Files should make it clear that the upcoming Summer Games are better off without him.

Casey Wasserman needs to go, and he needs to go now. U.S. Olympic officials should pressure the LA28 board to remove Wasserman as chair of the Los Angeles 2028 organizing committee. Wasserman’s exchanges with Jeffrey Epstein’s chief accomplice, Ghislaine Maxwell, are a storm cloud that will hover over the L.A. Olympics for as long as he is in charge.

To explain why Wasserman needs to go, we turn to … Casey Wasserman.

Last week, Wasserman told employees in an email at his eponymous agency that he was selling the company. His reasoning:

“Our clients expect—and deserve—world-class representation. And that’s exactly what they get because of all of you. At this moment, I believe that I have become a distraction to those efforts.”

Why are the Olympics any different? How can Wasserman be a distraction to his agency, but not to the Olympics?
I can make a guess - Wasserman continues to make money from the success of his agency that he's put in jeopardy. If he steps down from LA28 he loses that source of direct and indirect income.
... That is where LA28 finds itself now. Board members might believe Wasserman completely. But the public is a client they can’t afford to lose. This week, L.A. mayor Karen Bass said she would like Wasserman to step down, putting Wasserman at odds with the mayor of the host city....
