Sorry, I didn't mean to imply the Howdy Doody Peanut Gallery was for Black kids. By that time the racist part was mostly past, I suppose. It's just like several other common terms we all use that have a darker past. "Sold down the river" for example, or "rule of thumb"

The "peanut gallery" was originally the highest, cheapest seats in a Vaudeville theatre, and in which somewhat rowdy people might thrown peanuts at a less than satisfactory performance. But it was also the only place Black people were allowed, with "peanut gallery" becoming synonymous for "nigger section" among those who used such language. Maybe he could have changed the title to "Kiddie Commanders" or something.
The production manager of UFS noted the popularity of the children's program Howdy Doody, which featured an audience of children who were seated in the "Peanut Gallery", and were referred to as "Peanuts". This led to the decided title for the comic strip to be forced upon Schulz.
Maybe some Latinos, Semites and a couple who were "passing", but no obvious Blacks or Asians.

Confirmation that BeBe led DonOld around by the nose.
Israel never talked me into the war with Iran, the results of Oct. 7th, added to my lifelong opinion that IRAN CAN NEVER HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON, did. I watch and read the FAKE NEWS Pundits and Polls in total disbelief. 90% of what they say are lies and made up stories, and the polls are rigged, much as the 2020 Presidential Election was rigged. Just like the results in Venezuela, which the media doesn't like talking about, the results in Iran will be amazing - And if Iran's new leaders (Regime Change!) are smart, Iran can have a great and prosperous future! President DJT

Donald Trump pretty much indefinitely extends the ceasefire with Iran

https://www.cnbc.com/2026/04/21/trump-i ... efire.html
President Donald Trump on Tuesday extended the two-week U.S. ceasefire with Iran, saying the extension was warranted due to Tehran’s government being “seriously fractured.”
Trump said the ceasefire would continue “until such time as” Iran’s leaders and representatives submit a “unified proposal” to end the war with the U.S. and Israel.
Based on the fact that the Government of Iran is seriously fractured, not unexpectedly so and, upon the request of Field Marshal Asim Munir, and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, of Pakistan, we have been asked to hold our Attack on the Country of Iran until such time as their leaders and representatives can come up with a unified proposal,” Trump said in a statement.
“I have therefore directed our Military to continue the Blockade and, in all other respects, remain ready and able, and will therefore extend the Ceasefire until such time as their proposal is submitted, and discussions are concluded, one way or the other,” the president said.

UAE threatens it may have to sell oil in Yuan
https://fortune.com/2026/04/20/uae-cent ... -iran-war/
Potential fallout: Erosion of USD as the global reserve currency, higher inflation, increased borrowing costs for the US?

Is Trump killing the petro-dollar?Any pivot away from the dollar by a top oil producer would represent a major threat to the currency’s supremacy. Saudi Arabia’s decision in 1974 to price its exports in dollars helped establish the dollar as the standard across the global oil trade.
And because oil is a core input to manufacturing and transport, supply chains elsewhere dollarized, reinforcing the greenback’s dominance in payments.
Potential fallout: Erosion of USD as the global reserve currency, higher inflation, increased borrowing costs for the US?

Lindsey Graham
Just spoke to @POTUS about our European allies’ unwillingness to provide assets to keep the Strait of Hormuz functioning, which benefits Europe far more than America. I have never heard him so angry in my life. I share that anger given what’s at stake.
The arrogance of our allies to suggest that Iran with a nuclear weapon is of little concern and that military action to stop the ayatollah from acquiring a nuclear bomb is our problem not theirs is beyond offensive. The European approach to containing the ayatollah’s nuclear ambitions have proven to be a miserable failure.
The repercussions of providing little assistance to keep the Strait of Hormuz functioning are going to be wide and deep for Europe and America.
I consider myself very forward-leaning on supporting alliances, however at a time of real testing like this, it makes me second guess the value of these alliances. I am certain I am not the only senator who feels this way.

... His cheerleading for the war has sparked criticism from some fellow conservatives, including Megyn Kelly and Meghan McCain.
Kelly said last week that “the problem with Lindsay Graham isn’t (just) that he’s a homicidal maniac, it’s that Trump likes and is listening to him, and Trump’s favorite channel is parading him around like a Hefner bunny in stockings on every show.”
Meanwhile, McCain recently said on X that she’s known Graham since she was a child, but she is now “imploring anyone who will listen in the Trump administration to stop sending this man out” as a surrogate.
“He is scaring people and doing damage to whatever message you’re trying to sell to the American public about the Iran war,” she wrote.
'This Man Is A Monster': Lindsey Graham Ripped After 'Ghoulish' New Iran Claim
The Republican senator from South Carolina urged Trump to seize a key Iranian island.
Army combat vet:
The deadliest battle for US troops since Vietnam saw about one percent of the KIA suffered at Iwo Jima. This is what Lindsey Graham wants to "do" again. This is a ghoulish bloodthirsty fever we haven't seen in America in generations.
The abuse of the word WE in war talk by old men is so utterly infuriating.
Psychopath.
Imagine if you are a US soldier about to be sent into the meat grinder on behalf of Trump, Netanyahu and Graham. How would you feel?
Grenada would have been a better example to use, Lindsey.Graham can be thankful that the average american in 2026 doesn't know what Iwo Jima is and how horrible it was
