you just can't fix stupid

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

I'm not usually among the "love it or leave it" group, but seriously guys - if somebody really thinks their duly elected government is behind some scheme to kill a bunch of kids for politics, they really need to live somewhere else. I'd suggest Somalia, or maybe Columbia.

The "false flag" nuts were at it a month ago.

Remember Heep 'o' Names? I bet he's ranting about a government conspiracy (from his bunker) even as we speak. Credibility of these flaggers is on par with supernatural explanations for natural disasters.

Maybe if we toss a virgin into the reflecting pool, the government will stop staging these events.

The scary part is those idiots are allowed to proliferate and vote.

You could look at it this way; if they weren't allowed to multiply, we couldn't enjoy those "People of Walmart" websites.

Too bad those FEMA concentration camps are just a Ron Paul dementia dream- they'd be a perfect place to chain up all the conspiracy freaks.

And, more relevant to this particular wingnuttery, are allowed to own all types of guns.
Those paranoid nutjobs are exactly the type who spend as much as they possibly can on guns and ammo. ( Lower case. I'm not talking about the magazine.)

Man who helped Sandy Hook kids is harassed by conspiracy theorists

No one could have predicted how widespread and influential stupid conspiracy theories would become. There's now at least one Sandy Hook denier in Congress.

On a lighter note:
Teen arrested after trying to get fake ID back from bar

Image

... Police in Edmond, Oklahoma responded to the bar after Sands told them that the bar took her ID, and she wanted it back.

When officers arrived at the bar, they retrieved a Texas ID with the name "McKamie Queen." Sands told officers she was McKamie Queen, and the bar didn't believe her.

Officers ran the Texas ID license number and it came back eligible out of Texas to a Robert Sanchez.

Sands told officers that she did not think she would get caught.

Sands was then arrested for presenting a false ID with the purpose of misleading officers and taken to Edmond City Jail.

"The Texas ID license number and it came back eligible out of Texas to a Robert Sanchez." Who the fuck wrote that? What are they trying to say? No ID has a "license number" unless it's a driver license, which is not stated, and no ID is "eligible" for or about anything....it only has an expiration date, And who the fuck is Sanchez? Is he "eligible" for any of this? The whole thing is fucked up.

It probably is a fake driver license that just happened to use Sanchez's number, and I see "eligible" as being a synonym for valid.

Yeah, well, maybe so, but Perry Mason would not let something like this stand without some degree of scrutiny......nor would any media editor let it pass like it is. Including me obviously.

Idk whether to credit the reporter, the editor or the police in Edmond, Oklahoma.

I'll spin.....and credit (blame) the editor. The police in Oklahoma are no different than those in Texas. Sanchez will testify to this.

4th option: Maybe blame Texas.
About the Online Driver License Eligibility System

In NC:
Frequently Asked Questions - Driving Eligibility Certificates

Background

The term "Driving Eligibility Certificate" (also known as "DEC") refers to the official State of North Carolina school form required only of North Carolina drivers who are under age 18. One is required of each person under age 18 who does not yet possess a high school diploma but wishes to obtain/retain a North Carolina driver's permit/license....
This might bring the blame back to the KOKH-TV reporter or editor in Oklahoma City, depending on how widely the terminology is understood by its viewers/readers.

I never read the linked article above her picture; just read the text in the area under her picture. It struck me as a painfully tortured word salad that resists easy comprehension......like something Larry kudlow would say. As far as I'm concerned, a drivers license is "issued" by a state to a person and it is "valid" for a certain time period. The concept of "eligibility" in my mind does not fit with the concept of a driver license and is a moot point since the issuance of the license in itself, to one person, precludes the possibility of that license being "eligible" for or to anyone else.

I THINK the license number is "eligible" to Robert Sanchez. For blonde Blakelee Sands/McKamie Queen it's faked.

"Controversial"? Truly atrocious. Not that there aren't others who share his ummmm "opinion," but they aren't' in charge of taking care of their town's citizens. So maybe he got annoying calls by people blaming him for no lights (not his fault), no heat (not his fault) or wanting to know when it will get fixed (he has no idea), but still. What an asshole. I hope he's very unwelcome in that town after this - he's certainly showed his concern for his neighbors.

Ex-Texas mayor says wife was fired after he called residents ‘lazy’ amid snowstorm

... Boyd’s wife Casey worked as an administrative assistant secretary within the local school system, the Daily Mail reported, citing her Linkedin page....
I won't opine on her firing until learning more about her "defense" of her stupid and cruel husband, but it's ironic that she was a socialist worker, too. In the words of former mayor Boyd, “No one owes you [or] your family anything. I’m sick and tired of people looking for a damn handout!”

I sent the City Hall of Colorado City TX an email a few minutes ago. It was pretty good. Apparently their site is still up; my message has not been returned as undeliverable. info@cityofcoloradocity.org
I ended my message by telling them to "Look on the bright side; it's not likely you'll be able to elect another mayor anywhere near as goddamn stupid as Boyd. Yours in Jesus, neoplacebo"
