Maybe Sister Jean's helping out fellow Catholic school Gonzaga. At this point the Zags will be playing only 5-6-7 seeds into the final four. Of course, that hasn't been helpful to all the top teams so far. We'll see.
Good point, but 7 Ducks will grab that FF slot.
Now the entire Sweet 16 is set. It
should approximate 4 each of 1s, 2s, 3s & 4s. Instead, it will be:
1 Baylor, Gonzaga, Michigan
2 Houston, Alabama
3 Arkansas
4 Florida State
5 Villanova, Creighton
6 USC
7 Oregon
8 Loyola Chicago
11 Syracuse, UCLA
12 Oregon State
15 Oral Roberts, just the 2nd 15 ever to go so far
Just 7 of the 16 teams "should" be there. Only being a 1 seed was better odds than being an 11 seed

. PAC12 is kicking ass with USC, Oregon, UCLA and Oregon State still alive and only CO knocked out

.
