If you didn't know the coach's name, this one would fit into "Dumb Headlines"

"Kansas suspends Self for 4 games in ongoing NCAA infractions case"
If you didn't know Bill Self's name you probably wouldn't be reading a basketball article, or maybe the author worded his headline to attract the funny headline crowd as well as the basketball crowd.

 You're right - I didn't read the article, but was attracted by the headline. Speaking of headlines, they used to be a brief summary of the article and the skill involved was to be as clear and concise as possible within a limited word-count. Now they're almost all written as click-bait, often misleading and even more often just refusing to disclose the articles' information. Instead of "Auburn beats LSU", it's "Auburn does this" or even worse, "Fans Reaction When Auburn Does This"
And then there's real life where Auburn gets harsher penalties for lesser infractions against 1 assistant coach in the same investigation and the slew of headlines inferring that Coach Pearl is involved.
To be accurate these are KS' self-imposed penalties on Self and the program. Any NCAA penalties are yet to be announced. I think I read that how a school reacted to the charges affected the process, but I don't care enough to go back and see what that means for Auburn and KS. Overall, this is :bs: that it's taken 5 years and that the bribes aren't even against the rules anymore.

I don't know what kind of money changed hands in Kansas, but Bama paid their guy about 20 or 30 thousand and got nothing. A single Auburn assistant paid one guy a thousand and another guy about 3 thousand.
And then their were all those "leagues" owned by a few parents that received hundreds of thousands, so probably best that it's been legalized.

Nets win despite missing Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and their other 5 top scorers

No Kevin Durant, no Kyrie Irving, no problem for the Brooklyn Nets.

Excuse me, that should actually be no Kevin Durant, no Kyrie Irving, no Ben Simmons, no Seth Curry, no Nic Claxton, no Joe Harris, no T.J. Warren, no Royce O'Neale, no problem. Because that's how the Nets won on Saturday.

Missing their entire starting lineup and three of their four top bench players by minutes per game, the Nets somehow managed to defeat the Indiana Pacers 136-133 on the road....

The list goes on. Every Net in the starting lineup save for guard Edmond Sumner was making his first start of the season, and the bench only extended to four players due to the number of absences.

Yes, they were playing the Pacers, but the Pacers are 14-13 and unlike Nets, were playing their starters. The Pacers were favored by 7.5 points at BetMGM. So you can understand why the Nets players, active and inactive, were treating the win like a massive upset

The Nets' outlook was so bleak that head coach Jacque Vaughn was apologizing before the game, as nearly every player was held out due to injury management....

:wtf: I can't really see it, but:
Spoiler:
No look bounce pass
bounce pass near his right leg
I literally went frame by frame and he does bounce it to the right. You can see a smidge if the ball under Klay’s leg.

Image
I'm sure that a different camera angle would end the mystery. This one is just perfect to obscure the pass.

Very dramatic fadeaway jumper, too! No easy layup or unchallenged 3. Classy of KA-J to be there applauding. I'll bet some predicted he'd never be topped.

Some people ain't having it:

my guy Mj never lost any poll asking who's the goat lol. That must suck

Brittney Griner officially re-signs with Phoenix Mercury

... The Mercury open the season on the road against the Los Angeles Sparks on May 19. The team's first home game is two days later against the Chicago Sky.

Or not.
Giannis Antetokounmpo's triple-double gambit fails as NBA rescinds rebound

... According to league rules, for a field goal attempt to count as official, the player has to shoot "with intent to score a field goal."

Milwaukee won 117-111. Antetokounmpo finished, officially, with 23 points, 13 assists and 9 rebounds. The stat adjustment dropped his rebound average from 11.94 per game to 11.92 -- but his shooting percentage, with the missed "shot" also erased, improved from .538 to .539.
Oh well.

FYI, I wasn't looking to debunk or even for more info. I navigated straight from your post to ESPN to look up today's NCAA bball poll and this just happened to be on the homepage.
